We take our chopsticks and devour our sushi while drinking down a whole bottle of plum wine.

“We should go next door and get coffee. I can’t drive.”

“Agreed. I can’t either. We know better.” I say as I lean into my friend as we walk out of the restaurant.

“We do, but meh. Who cares? We don’t have anything to do tomorrow.”

Just then, her phone dings. She digs it out of her purse and squints at the screen.

“It’s Titus!”

“And?”

“He can get you in tomorrow!”

“Shut up! Okay. Yes. You will go with me, right?”

“I will drag you by your hair if I have to.”

“Easy there, I might like it.” I wink at her, but I’m pretty sure both eyes closed.

“Let’s get coffee. We should be good in an hour or so.”
