When I reached Gina’s desk, I didn’t offer a greeting. “I need the Weber file.”

She looked at me like she couldn’t believe I was asking for that. “Ijustput it away.”

I held my hands up. “Don’t blame me. Kirk forgot I needed it. Allegedly.”

She sighed and headed into the room where everything was kept. Meanwhile, I tapped my toes as I tried to patiently wait. But it was hard when I was irritated and sexually frustrated. At that point, I wanted the day to be over, so I could leave work.

Maybe I’d get a massage or something.

I closed my eyes and imagined hands kneading the knots out of my neck. The hands would work out all the kinks before massaging my back. Then, maybe I would flip over, and the handsome man who was working on my body would accidentally pull off my towel and run his hands down—

“Grr.” I opened my eyes and stomped my feet. Why was I turning my nice massage into something sexual?

“Are you okay?” Gina asked, eyes wide.

And wasn’t that just great? I hadn’t realized she’d come back up to her desk and caught me mid-tantrum.

Stepping forward, I held out my hand. “I’m fine. Can I have that?” I asked, referring to the manila file folder in her hand.

She tilted her head and looked me up and down. “You don’t seem fine.”

“Just give me the file.”

Gina gasped and grinned. “Do you need another dick appointment?” She nodded, as if she was answering her own question. “Yep, I bet that’s exactly what you need.”

I ground my teeth. “No, I do not.”

“Come on. You can be real with me, Vivian.”

With an impatient snort, I launched the upper half of my body over her desk and snatched the file from her hand. I spun on my heel and stormed away.

“Mara was right. You do need to get laid again.”

At least, that was what I thought she’d said.

Abruptly, I stopped and scowled over my shoulder. “What did you say?”

“I was wondering if you have plans tonight.”

“That’s not what you said.”

She rolled her eyes. “Just answer the question.”

“Are you asking me to hang out?”

She scoffed. “God, no.”

The feeling was mutual.

“Then, I’m doing nothing. Just the way I want it.” I would probably do some work from home, but I doubted Gina considered that having plans.

“Good,” she said, picking up her phone.

I sighed and rushed back to my office.
