“Working too, but having breakfast with my sister first, you wanna come?”
Tessa lifts her head, blinking her eyes open. “To breakfast?”
Chuckling, I tuck her messy bed hair behind her ear. “Yes, to breakfast,” I repeat. “I know Hannah would like to catch up with you again, what do you think?”
She folds her arms over my chest, lowering her chin to rest on them as she watches me. “Do you want me to come?”
“Of course I do,” I tell her. “I wouldn’t have asked you otherwise. I told you, Tess, I’m all in on this, remember?”
“Okay,” she says, her voice low.
“You still believe me, right?”
Tessa smiles, lifting herself up as she moves closer to gently kiss me. “I do believe you. I’m sorry about yesterday, assuming that…well you know.”
I pull her so she’s lying on top of me, my hands squeezing her ass. “No more thinking like that, alright?”
She smirks, nipping my bottom lip. “No more,” she repeats.
“So, are you coming to breakfast?”
“I’m coming to breakfast,” she whispers against my mouth. “But first…” she trails off as she kisses a path down my neck and chest, disappearing beneath the sheets.
