Yeah, I mean I do miss being down here, but It makes sense for me to stay over there besides, it's starting to grow on me.

I raise an eyebrow and tilt my head to the side,"I bet It's because you don't have to worry about the family popping up on you every fifteen seconds." I make fun but secretly envy him.

"Yeah, I can say I don't miss that." he laughs. "The buffer zone is remarkable."

"How are things here? What is going on with you?" He asks and nods to the waitress who brings the menu and silverware to us.

The both of us are quick to give our order, which she takes before she turns to walk away.

"Nothing new. You know the same old things as ever." I shrug and look away, hating that I'm not being fully honest with him. Nicholas is probably one of the people that I could tell all about Trey without him judging me, but now that I've gone so long without anyone knowing it feels like the minute that someone does find out the bubble that we’ve been in will pop, and the magic will be lost.

"Bull… Something is up." He says, picking up his cup and taking a sip.

What are you talking about." I turn back to him in shock.

"Sabine, I see that look on your face. You're happy." he points at my waving his finger from side to side as if he's trying to pinpoint the exact location on my face that has changed. "Something new is going on. What is it?"

I laugh and think about Trey again. No, this one is my secret, "Nothing Nicholas. I'm just enjoying life. "

He shakes his head in disbelief, but he drops the subject, which I'm thankful for. When I'm ready to let everyone know about Trey, I will, but until then, I'm more than satisfied keeping him all to myself.
