“I know I’ve said it before.” He placed her bag by the door, came up behind her, and kissed the back of her neck. “You’re breathtaking.”
“I had a wonderful time.”
“I’m glad.” He moved her hair to one side, granting him better access to her skin as he placed his other hand on her hip, guiding her against his chest. “You smell so good.” He trailed a hot path down her neck with his tongue.
Her insides tightened when he slipped the thin strap of the dress down and kissed her shoulder. She closed her eyes and sank into his body when he moved his hand from her hip and to her breasts.
“I meant what I said when I invited you here.” He grazed her nipple with his thumb on his way up to her face, caressing her jaw and then her lips with his delicate touch. “We don’t have to do anything.”
“Yes, we do.” She turned in his arms to face him. “You promised to show me things.” She bit her lip as she stared into his eyes. “To do things to me. I want you to touch me, explore every inch of my body. I want you to have me, Tyler. All of me.”
“That means a lot to know you want to give up something really important to me. I don’t take that lightly.” He pressed his lips to hers before speaking again. “We can go as slow as you want. We don’t have to do everything tonight.”
“I always told myself I’d wait for the right guy. I’d know when I met him. It’s you. You’re the one I want to be with. The only one.”
“Thank you.” He took her hand and kissed her knuckles. “Let’s go upstairs.”
A chill coursed through her as they walked up the steps to his bedroom. Nervous didn’t begin to describe what she felt. She was about to lose her virginity with a sexy man; someone who treated her like a princess. Her heart raced with anticipation. She may have been anxious, but she wanted this. She wanted him.
“Would you like a few minutes of alone time?” he asked when they got to the top of the stairs. “There’s a guest bathroom through here.” He pointed to a room off the main hall. “You can meet me in my room.”
“That sounds good.” She wanted an opportunity to relax. A few minutes to get herself under control.
“My room is at the end of the hall.” He leaned her against the wall, staring into her eyes as he spoke. “Don’t take too long.”
“I won’t.” Her voice came out breathless and low.
“I’ll be waiting for you.” He tilted her chin and focused on her mouth as he licked his lips. “I’m not very patient.”
She couldn’t help herself, she had to have him. She leaned forward and claimed his lips, kissing him long and slow, showing him how much she desired him. “I’m not that patient either.”
He smirked before releasing her. “See you in a few.”
She nodded as she watched him disappear down the hall. How could any woman handle all of that man? Could she handle all of him? She was about to find out.
After a few minutes of pacing the large guest bathroom and trying to settle her nerves, she decided it was time to join him.In his bedroom.She’d never been in a guy’s bedroom before. Tyler had promised to take things slow. She trusted him. So why was she still in the bathroom? Time to pull up her big girl panties, or in this case take them off, and let him make her feel like a woman in every sense of the word.
She slowly made her way down the hall, pushing the door open and stepping inside the dimly lit space. Soft music played from speakers built into the wall. It must have been a surround sound system originating from the impressive entertainment center on the far side of the room.
She sucked in a breath when she spied him standing by the large windows that overlooked the city. His bare back was to her. She let her gaze travel down his muscular form, lingering on that impressive tattoo before stopping to admire his rear end.
When he turned and smiled, she noticed he’d removed everything except his well-tailored, black dress pants. She thought a six pack like that was reserved for professional athletes. She was wrong. The sound of the ice rattling in his glass as he set it on the nightstand pulled her out of her lust-induced state.
“Would you like a drink?”
“No, thank you.” She glanced at the window. “That’s an awesome view.”
“Come here.” He motioned for her. “I want to be close to you.”
She did as he asked, stopping a few inches from where he stood. His green eyes blazed with that fire she saw every time he kissed her.
“Are you okay?” He draped her hair over her shoulder before caressing her neck. His touch elicited a shiver from someplace deep within her core.
“Yes,” she spoke barely above a whisper as he leaned into her face.
“I’m not going to lie.” He trailed his lips along her jaw. “I want to devour every inch of you, but not without control. Nothing you don’t want will happen here tonight.”
“I trust you.” She placed her hands on his shoulders. “I know you’ll take care of me.”
