Epilogue One

Parker

Seven years later:

“Kitten, your ass better be in that bed when I make it to the top of those stairs,” I yell out the minute I walk in the door of our house.

We live on the same street as my brothers and their wives, and the shop we all own together is only three miles down the road. I got the picture of the ovulation test just five minutes ago and headed straight home. All my brothers knew what it meant when I hightailed it out, and I could hear their laughter and cheers as I roared away on my bike.

Birkley and I have been trying for three long years to start a family. All of my brothers have, and we’ve been married for five years now. It’s time. We wanted a piece of us here, with us. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been easy. We tried for two years before going to a specialist, only to find out Birkley would most likely never be able to have kids. We still didn’t give up, and I know we never will, but I can also see the struggle she faces every time we get a negative test. I’ve talked to her about adopting, but we know how hard that can be, especially with our past.

I finally make it to the bedroom, ripping my shirt over my head. My kitten loves the tattoos that cover most of my body, and I like to show them off, mainly because most of them are inspired by my girl. I unbuckle my belt and unzip my pants, then realize she isn’t in the room. I head toward the bathroom when I hear a sniffle.

“Kitten, baby, what’s wrong?” I ask when I see the tears falling down her face.

“You didn’t get the picture?” she asks me through her tears.

“The ovulation test? Yeah, I got it and got here as quick as I could,” I tell her, pulling her into my chest.

“That wasn’t an ovulation test. Look again,” she tells me. My breath stills in my lungs. I pull away slowly, taking my phone out of my pocket and opening the picture again. I look at the words splayed across the screen.

“Pregnant,” I whisper before looking back up at her. “You’re Pregnant?”

I’m still whispering, but I feel like the answer might change if I say it too loud. Birkley holds up the test to show me in person, and that one word is still there in bold letters.

I drop to my knees, kissing her stomach and pressing my face against her belly. Her belly that is growing my child. I let the tears fall, thanking God for finally giving us this gift. I can't keep my excitement in, and when I’ve had my fill of kissing her belly… for now, I stand.

I grab her around the waist and carry her into our room, throwing her on the bed before coming down on top of her. She laughs, but that stops when I kiss her hard, then quickly turns into a moan as I rip her clothes off her body.

“I’m pregnant now. We don’t have to keep going at it like animals,” she says, giving me a teasing smile.

“Oh baby, don’t think for one minute all those times were just about getting you pregnant. That was definitely the ultimate bonus, but let's be honest. I’m addicted to this tight little body and that cunt you keep tucked away just for me. Now, spread them,” I tell her, and she automatically opens for me.

“This time is going to be quick, baby. You just told me my seed I planted in you took root. You’re making my child as we speak. It has all my primal instincts rearing up,” I tell her as I take her nipple into my mouth and bite down. She arches her back, and I take that moment to shove inside her.

I’ll make up for the roughness later, but I need her to know she belongs to me right now, I belong to her, and we are making more of those dreams a reality.
