“More.” She felt him wrap his hand around her leg and pull it higher on his hip, changing the angle so when he pushed into her again, he filled her completely. “Yes.” She dug her fingers into his hips, spurring him on. He pounded into her then, hard and fast and hot. Leah felt the tidal wave of pleasure building, consuming her, taking her higher and higher and higher still. She screamed as she broke apart around him, her body convulsing and jerking in climax. The intensity of it swept her away. She felt Callum’s lips on her neck as he came, emptying himself inside her.

A long while later, Leah drifted, floating on the afterglow, dimly aware that Callum was talking to her. “Mmm?” She murmured, slowly returning to awareness.

“Sweetheart, are you okay?”

She drew a deep, shuddering breath, running her hands up and down his back in long, lazy strokes. “I’m dead. You’ve killed me. My tombstone will sayHere lies Leah Kaplan. Orgasmed to death. What a way to go.” She grinned when he chuckled, the sound reverberating through her. She kept her eyes closed as she felt him raise his head, taking his weight on his elbows and looking at her.

“You know what you need?”

“A kiss.”

He brushed his lips lightly across hers and with her eyes still closed, she opened her lips, tangling her tongue with his, luxuriating in the kiss. “You know what else you need?” He asked when he finally lifted his head.

“Another kiss?”

He laughed softly. “Nope.” He pushed to his feet, scooping her up and holding her close to his chest. Leah wrapped her arms around his neck, dropping her head to his shoulder, expecting that he was going to take her inside for a long, hot shower. “A swim.”

Leah’s eyes flew open. “Are you crazy?” She looked around, her worst fears realized. He wasn’t heading towards the house.

“It’ll do you good,”

“Bullshit.”

“Now, now.”

The ocean loomed closer and closer as Callum’s long strides ate up the sand. “Oh, Jesus.” Leah buried her head in his shoulder, squeezing her eyes shut as she braced herself. She heard his feet splashing in the waves, heard his sharp intake of breath at the cold, managed to say, “You’re a maniac,” before he had them both submerged. “Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck,” she said when he pulled her up.

“Bit dramatic.” He kept his hands on her waist as she tried to find her feet against the buffeting sea.

“It’s freezing!” She pushed at his chest, laughing.

“It’s not that bad, once you get used to it.”

“I don’t want to get used to it!”

“Sook. Come on.” He grabbed her hands and towed her further out, swimming into the ribbon of silvery light thrown across the water by the moon.

“I can’t touch the bottom.”

He slipped one arm around her waist. “I’ve got you.”

“I know.” She anchored herself against him by hooking a leg around his thigh. A light grip on his shoulders kept her steady.

He half floated on his back, holding her against him so that she was forced to float too. “Not so bad, is it?”

“No, it’s nice.” She closed her eyes and let go of his shoulders, tipping herself backward into the water. Callum’s hands at her hips anchored her in place so she relaxed, spreading her arms out and taking a deep breath of salty sea air. “You were wrong, by the way.”

“Was I?”

“Mm hmm.” She opened her eyes to look at him.

“How so?”

“I did have the strength to scream.” She swore she could see his eyes gleam in the dim light.

“Mmm, so you did.” He skimmed his hands up to her breasts, brushing lightly over her sensitive nipples, giving her a wolfish grin when he heard her gasp. “I guess that means I didn’t do my job properly.” He slid his hands around her back and pulled her up so that they were chest to chest.

Leah wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. “I guess that’s exactly what it means.” She kissed him softly. “I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of kissing you.”
