“Zach?” Luna stepped into the room. “Is everything okay?”

“Yeah. I just got off the phone with my mom. I didn’t want to disturb you, so I came in here. My dad’s going home today.”

“Oh, that’s wonderful news.” Luna came into the shower, pressing her body up against me. “I’m happy that he’s doing better.”

My dick lengthened when her chest pushed against my back. Turning around, I cupped her face. Moving my hand to the back of her head, I fisted her hair and crushed my mouth to hers.

She gasped, arching against me. “Zach,” she whispered against my lips.

I broke the kiss, leaning my forehead against hers. “Sorry. I just…” A thought came to me. “I have to head to the city tonight. I’m going to give my parents some time alone. Come with me.”

“Really?” Luna asked, leaning back. “I don’t think I’ve ever been to your apartment.”

“It’s a condo but that doesn’t matter.” I pushed my hips into her, pressing her up against the wall. “I want to take you out for dinner. I want to go dancing with you. I want you. All of you. With me.”

“I would love that,” she breathed. “I would love all of that.”

“Good.” As much as I knew we needed to talk about…everything, we didn’t. Instead, I used her body to please us both for the next hour. The shower turned cold before I was done with her.

“God, Zach.” Luna shivered, her teeth chattering.

I chuckled, wrapping a large terrycloth towel around her. “I got a little carried away.”

“That’s fine.” She stared up at me with those big beautiful eyes of hers. “But I need to know, is everything okay? I know you said your dad’s fine, but I feel like something else is going on that you’re not telling me.”

“No.” I kissed her softly on the mouth. “Everything’s fine.” I didn’t want to ruin this moment. So, I lied. Fucking hell, I lied to her.

As much as I wanted to press for more answers, I didn’t. But Zach closed up completely after that. Something was eating at him. Every so often that muscle in his jaw would tick. Or his hands would clench on the steering wheel.

We left the motel shortly after our shower. We had said goodbye to Jaron and the guys, and they even asked Zach if everything was okay. I wanted to know what was going on but a part of me didn’t want to all at the same time.

“Zach?” I said once we pulled onto my street. I needed to grab some clothes and also tell the girls that I wasn’t going to be home for the night.

“Yeah,” he said, tightening his grip on my inner thigh.

“Are we good? I hate being a nag or whatever, but I just want to make sure that I didn’t do anything.”

“Fuck, no.” He grabbed my hand and brought it up to his mouth. “You haven’t done anything at all. I’m sorry. I’m good. We’re good. I promise.” He gave me a small smile in reassurance, but I still felt like he was lying.

“Okay, well, if you want to talk about it, I’m here.”

“I know, Moonbeam.” Zach pulled into my driveway and put the car in park.

“Are you coming in?” I asked, opening the door.

“I will but I’ll stay out of your bedroom or else we won’t be going anywhere.” He winked.

I laughed, the heaviness billowing around us, simmering some. “Alright then, Zachary. Let’s go so I can get my clothes and you can take me to your condo.”

He grinned. “I think I’m going to enjoy having you in my space.”

I smiled, shaking my head.

When we entered the house, it seemed like all of our friends were over, even though it was just pushing two in the afternoon..
