Sammy shifted to the right but wasn’t quick enough when Will caught me sitting there.

He chuckled. “Moving fast, aren’t we, Red?”

I glared at him. “Aaron has been dead for four years.” And a piece of my soul died along with him.

“I wasn’t talking about him,” Will said, staring at me.

My stomach clenched. I looked away, needing Sammy to take me away from here.

“Well, it’s been a slice. We have to go.” Sammy turned and helped me off the bike. He handed me a helmet and did it up for me, but wouldn’t look at me.

I swallowed hard, knowing I would have to explain who exactly Will was to me besides being my late husband’s brother.

“I’ll see you later…” He winked. “Princess.”

“Don’t call me that,” I snapped. “I am not your Princess.”

“You are,” he growled. “You will always beourPrincess.”

A dark shadow came up behind me, looming over my head.

“You got this, Red?” Sammy asked, placing a hand on my hip.

Will caught the movement, a slow grin spreading on his face. “Just wait until you tell Sammy how many guys you’ve actually been with. He won’t want your dirty pussy after that.”

A harsh scream left me as I charged for him. Arms suddenly wrapped around my middle, stopping me from going after the fucker.

Will chuckled, walking away and heading into the club.

I struggled against Sammy. “To answer your question, yes I had it.” I stomped away from him and took off the helmet.

“Red.” He took a step toward me.

I lifted my hand. “I need a moment.”

He stayed back, keeping his distance but leaving his eyes on me.

I took a breath and then another. “I haven’t been with as many guys as Will implied. But I’ve been with enough. I went through a few of the men in his crew after Aaron died because I was hurting. I was also mad at myself that I never got out of that marriage ahead of time. I feel...I just...” Before I could finish, Sam had me in his arms.

Without even saying anything, he guided me back to his bike and took the helmet from me. He placed it back on my head, did it up, and straddled the beautiful machine before slipping his own helmet on. When the engine rumbled to life, he looked at me over his shoulder.

I took the hint, cupped his shoulder, and swung my leg over the seat behind him. When I was safe and secure, I wrapped my arms around his hard middle.

He cupped my hands, gave them a squeeze, and drove us out of the parking lot.

I wasn’t sure where we were going but I found that I didn’t overly care. We could go back to my place. His place. Out of town. It didn’t matter.

When I saw Will originally, Sammy distracted me from him, but now seeing him again conjured up other memories I didn’t like.

As the world whipped past us, I saw the sign to our town, wishing us a good day. I didn’t know where we were going but I did know that I wanted to go with Sammy.

Wherever it may be.

(Sammy)

I didn’t know her story. Maybe one day she would tell me, but I knew that Will was bad for her. Whatever history they had; it was clearly only one-sided on his part. But it didn’t matter. Her past didn’t matter. Not to me. I had enough when it came to this woman and how she unraveled me. I wanted her. All of her. Every inch. Her submission. Her sass. The fierce and passionate sides to her. I wanted to show her that the dark side of sex could be beautiful and perfect if it was with the right person. I wanted her at my feet but most of all, I just wanted her.
