“But then, why did you sleep with Alyson?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” I replied, “Maybe because I wanted to get back at Aria.”
“Why?”
“Aria’s a nympho and has slept with every male in the office,” I said, “I was nothing more than a new trophy for her.”
“Oh… oh damn, I’m sorry, bro,” he said as he turned back to his laptop, “Try not to overthink anything.”
“I won’t,” I replied as I got up, “I’m going to bed.”
“Ah, sleep tight.”

After Nick went to bed, Hunter checked on him to ensure he was asleep. When he confirmed this, he picked up his phone and dialed someone.
“Hello Mrs Parker,” he said, “We have a problem.”
Aria
“Why didn’t you tell me earlier?!” I yelled in the phone.
“It skipped my memory,” she said, “You know being old and all.”
“You’re just 43 mom,” I sighed.
“How mean, you’re not supposed to say a woman’s age out loud,” she said in a
pouting voice, “Is Michael there?”
Michael shook his head negatively and mouthed the word‘No’ repeatedly. “Michael, she wants to talk to you,” I handed the phone over to him. “Hey, Mrs. Wolfe, how are ya?” he greeted but his eyes seemed like they wanted
to kill me.
I mouthed a‘thank you’.
“Yeah,everything is fine,” he said, “Well, she’s behaving.”
He scratched his forehead, “I know ma’am.”
“Wait, today?!” he looked worried, “Like today, today?”
“No, no it’s not any trouble,” he chuckled, “We’ll see you soon then.” He handed the phone over to me.
“Michael sounds even more mature now,” she said, “Sorry I sprung this on you out
of nowhere, but I’ve missed my baby’s face.”
“I’ve missed you too mom,” I sighed, “See you soon.”
I dropped the phone and let out a groan.
“So? What’s the problem?” he asked.
“She’s coming over today,” I rubbed my face.
