Ozni pushed the earlier encounter to the back of his mind and focused on work. He glanced over to the human beside him and watched the man fidget. Ozni knew what he should do and yet he hesitated.Get it together.

Reaching out, he slowly placed his hand on the man’s neck applying the littlest bit of pressure before pulling out a book and staring at the words of a random page. The customer took in a sharp intake before he relaxed further into Ozni’s touch and leaned against him. The vampire that had come with the human chuckled softly but didn’t ask for Ozni to stop touching what was so clearly his. Their relationship was one that fascinated Oz. A couple that indulged in a bit of fantasy sharing.

Ozni glanced up from his book and watched as Porter swayed his hips before he bent over to listen to one of the customers who was chatting with him. He flashed everyone who had eyes on him. By Jaygen’s steely blue gaze, the tiger shifter was pissed off and Ozni was pretty sure that if Jaygen wasn’t occupied with customers, he’d snatch Porter up. Foi was only a few booths away but Ozni heard the growl as if Foi was right next to him. Cy happened to walk past Porter and slapped his ass nearly making Porter spill the tray of drinks. The sound of flesh colliding echoed around the bar, nearly making Ozni groan.

The human had each of them wrapped around his slender finger and Ozni couldn’t figure out when it had happened. When had they all started to pay such close attention to Porter? He wasn’t just the newbie anymore. He was a part of the PGD as much as they were and yet none of them were looking at him as a fellow host. What magic did the human possess?

Porter glared over his shoulder at Cy but continued his walk over to their table. He sat the tray down with a huge smile on his face.

“I know you said you wanted something not too strong but good, so I had our boss make something special just for you, Tony,” Porter said, batting his lashes at the human next to Ozni.

“Oh, um, thank you,” the customer said. He blushed but it didn't entice Ozni as much as Porter’s did. Still Ozni traced a finger over the blush and down the customer’s cheek to his neck.

Because Ozni rarely spoke, he used touch and subtle body cues to interact with customers. Most seemed to like it. The customer shivered at his touch before grabbing the drink and gulping down a decent amount.

“Ozni,” Porter groaned.

Damn it, his name shouldn’t sound so good coming from Porter.

Porter snatched the book out of Ozni’s hand and gave him a fake glare. “You can’t just ignore Tony and Jack.” Porter crossed his arms and stuck out his hips. It drew Ozni’s eye to the lacy underwear that peaked out of Porter’s skirt.

He was tempted to pluck the little lacy strap, instead Ozni turned to the human customer namedTom- no, Tony- yeah, that’s it. He cupped the man’s face and turned it ever so slowly toward him. Ozni rubbed circle motions along his jaw and stared intently at him giving the customer his full attention. The customer sucked in a breath and just held it.

Ozni tapped the man’s nose and finally he exhaled.

“Sorry, he tends to get so stuck in a book,” Porter said as he plopped down next to Jack.

“It’s quite alright. I think my boyfriend likes that about him,” Jack chuckled. “I tend to run my mouth endlessly, but he does have a soft spot for the strong, silent type.”

Tony stared at him with so much lust, but it had no effect on Ozni. Slowly, the daywalker drew his finger down, following the soft skin of the human’s neck.

“Your eyes are darker than the night sky,” the customer whispered in awe.

“They’re gorgeous, right?” Porter said.

A smile curved Ozni’s lips at Porter’s compliment. He caught Porter’s stare and that teasing blush was back as he licked his glossy lips while holding Ozni’s gaze. Porter broke it first as he turned to Jack and began chatting effortlessly.

Ozni finally released Tony and reached over to the side of him in the basket that he changed out depending on what he was doing for the night. He grabbed a book for the customer and handed it to him.

“Oh, thank you,” Tony smiled.

“He thinks you’re good looking. Ozni is only nice to certain customers, especially the ones that pull the protectiveness from him,” Porter said with a dreamy sigh.

Not true. It was just easier to give the customer something to do since Ozni didn’t speak. Ozni would never give a book to Cy or Porter because he’d happily sit there and listen to them ramble on about anything. He’d bask in their presence and be content with it. He already did that with Foi and Jaygen. The wolf and tiger shifter argued, with Ozni between them, all the time. It was soothing and the fact that they never got angry with Ozni that he didn’t speak, just made the interaction that much more special.

Ozni leaned back and grabbed Tony before he pulled him close. He didn’t miss the slight dip of Porter’s lips before he wiped the look away.Did Porter not like when the customers were so close?

Ozni waited to see if it happened again but Porter's award-winning smile was plastered to his face as he got cozy with Jack. It went on that way for the next forty minutes. The hour was nearly up and Porter had the other vampire wrapped around his dainty little finger. Jack had already purchased twice the amount of drinks and bought a few slots for him and his human to visit Porter and Ozni again.

Porter was truly a natural. It was almost like he’d worked at PGD just as long as the rest of them. Tony sat and placed his book down, his gaze focused intently on Ozni.

Ozni stayed still as the customer sat up straighter and got onto his knees, his hands reaching out toward Ozni’s hair.

Many customers had a fascination with his snow white locks. It stood out against his dark brown skin, a perfect contrast. Before the customer could come in contact with it, however, Porter was there grabbing the man’s hand.

Caught off guard, Ozni wasn’t sure what to do with Porter’s reaction to a customer nearly touching his hair. If he had a beating heart, it would be racing at the moment.

“Sorry, uh—” Porter stumbled and looked shocked that he’d intervened. He recovered the best he could and gave the customer a weak excuse about Oz being particular about his hair. Thankfully, they didn’t argue against it and Tony apologized profusely. Oz tilted his head at Porter curiously. The vampire didn’t care about his hair being touched in the slightest.
