"I don't care where you stick your dicks," Arden said. He pulled out four glasses and started to make a drink.

"But the rules," Cyrus sheepishly said.

Arden cocked a brow at the man before glancing at Jaygen. "There is no rule against being with a fellow host." Jaygen would know, he lived heavily by the rules.

Cyrus looked so confused and Jaygen couldn't help but think it was adorable.

"Damn, and here I thought you were breaking rules for once," Foi grumbled.

Jaygen rolled his eyes at the wolf. "Never that." Jaygen accepted the offered drink from Arden and took a stool at the bar.

"The rules state no host is allowed to date clients. If there is a general interest, then the client can no longer come to the establishment. As for host on host or, in all of your cases, five hosts together, it can't impede on your work or cause in-house drama," Arden supplied.

And they had adhered to such rules keeping their personal affairs away from the workplace. Only Porter's had come crashing through their door but as far as Jaygen was concerned, it was Gabriel Manetti’s doing and Porter held no fault.

"Oh," Cyrus said as he hopped up on the stool and took his drink, a pink concoction Arden made with expert hands.

Arden chuckled. "You look a little disappointed, Cyrus. Let me guess. The appeal was the secret of it all?"

A deep blush crept up Cyrus's neck and flooded his cheeks. Jaygen instinctively traced it with his hand making the blush deepen.

"Kind of," Cyrus finally got out.

For an incubus, the man could be surprisingly innocent.

"I know you three didn't come down here just to talk about your relationship status," Arden said.

Jaygen took another sip of his drink. "That's right.” He toyed with the glass. “We can't let this happen ever again."

Arden didn't argue with him and Jaygen knew the dragon agreed. There was only one way for them to secure Porter's safety. "We are going to take out Gabriel Manetti." Jaygen didn't mince his words.

The dragon crossed his arms over his broad chest and stared at each of them. "I won't ask you if you're sure about this, but you all need to keep in mind the potential ramifications. The Manetti family has made a name for themselves even amongst supernaturals."

Foi growled. "They are still just humans."

Arden shook his head as Jaygen slapped the wolf in the back of the head. They couldn't afford to underestimate them. They were humans, technically weaker than them, but humans had proven over and over again that they could survive. They had no issues wiping out and killing a mass amount of beings. It was why supernaturals, for the amount of power they wielded, went with coexisting instead of ruling over them.

"Foi, keep thinking that way and you will be a liability to all of us, including Porter," Arden warned.

Growling softly, Foi lowered his head slightly at Arden's words. The mutt could be so hot-headed at times. It was why he needed someone like Jaygen to rein him in.

"The plan—" Jaygen started before he was interrupted.

Arden lifted his hand, halting any words coming from the tiger shifter. "I'll support the five of you, but it's best I don't know the insanity that you will be getting into."

Jaygen shouldn't have been surprised. Arden might have been running the host bar, but he was a pillar within Silvercross. He couldn't be tied to any attacks or plans against humans, even ones that deserved to be wiped from the face of the earth.

"I'll be keeping the bar closed for two nights to make sure everything has blown over. I already have a few people keeping watch over the Manettis." Arden reached under the bar and pulled out a tablet before passing it to Jaygen. "This is the most I can do for you. All the information about them is there. Make sure to delete it once you’re finished. I don't have to tell you it isn't exactly public records."

Jaygen took the tablet and handed it over to Cyrus. They'd go over it and Jaygen would make sure he knew what color underwear Gabriel was going to wear for the day by the end of it. This would only help make the plan more solid. A part of him was disappointed that they wouldn't have Arden's full assistance, but it was nothing he couldn't tweak and compensate for.

Jaygen finished his drink and stood up. "Thanks."

"Anytime. You four make sure to stay safe but more importantly, protect him," Arden said. He turned back around, effectively dismissing them.

Jaygen planned on it. They would give Porter his freedom. Together they made their way back upstairs. Jaygen checked the time. Normally they'd be heading back down and entertaining guests. He put in his code and entered the bedroom, expecting to see Porter still curled around Ozni. Instead Porter was chasing around a little black ball of fur around the room. Ozni had a smile placed firmly on his face as he sat on Jaygen's bed as if he belonged there.

"Got you," Porter shouted triumphantly, lifting the little critter in his hands.
