Cyrus clamped his mouth shut and Jaygen waited for him to follow his instruction. A few heartbeats passed before Cyrus scooted closer and he laid his head on Jaygen's lap.

The ball in Jaygen’s chest eased a bit at the incubus obeying his order. He pushed his fingers through Cyrus’s soft hair and basked in the moment of utter obedience. Jaygen felt in control of the moment; it was exactly what he needed. It was something so simple and yet it calmed the raging storm Jaygen had been trying to battle for hours now. And the incubus had given it so freely as he always did. It made Jaygen feel at ease.

He closed his eyes and let all thoughts ebb and flow his way naturally. Finally, Jaygen's brain worked through the mess that had been clogging it before and the plan formed in his mind as if it had been there the entire time. There were, of course, a few things he'd have to iron out but Jaygen had come up with a solid plan, one he could see executed beautifully.

Jaygen opened his eyes. He glanced down at Cyrus whose eyes were shut, his face showing nothing but serenity. Jaygen traced the man's ear and then his jaw. He followed the pattern a few times before making a pattern on Cyrus's neck. He watched with a keen eye as the incubus’s pulse picked up.

Jaygen smiled to himself as he lifted Cyrus's face from his lap. The man had no idea how he'd just helped Jaygen tremendously. Jaygen assisted Cyrus in standing and the incubus still stared down at him as if waiting for his next instruction. It sent a pure thrill down Jaygen's spine.

"Was Porter still asleep when you left?" Jaygen asked.

Cyrus's eyes were slightly glazed over, but he nodded.

Jaygen stood, grabbing a handful of Cyrus's hair and tugged his head back, earning a moan from the incubus. "Good little nymph." Jaygen brushed his lips over Cyrus's, before letting the man go and straightening his sleeves.

"Come Cyrus," Jaygen said. He made his way to his room and opened the door. Sure enough, Porter was still sound asleep, wrapped around Ozni with Foi sprawled out next to them. The dog even slept sloppily. Jaygen barely contained his growl as he called for Foi.

Foi groaned and curled closer to Ozni and Porter. Jaygen pinched the bridge of his nose as he looked to Ozni. He was the only one of them that never slept. The vampire offered Jaygen a soft smile and it had the strangest ability to make Jaygen's shoulders drop slightly.

It was as if they had a private conversation just staring into each other's eyes. Yes, it was odd, but it was always like that with Ozni. The man rarely spoke but still found a way to get his point across. But was that with everyone or just them?

Ozni moved, pulling Porter closer to him before raising a leg and kicking Foi out of the bed. Cyrus let out a burst of laughter, but quickly slapped a hand over his mouth as Jaygen pinned him with a glare. Porter needed to get as much rest as possible.

Foi's head popped up and he looked like a wild animal. Jaygen wanted to cut his hair and trim his beard. Followed by a full grooming session and some clothes that weren't wrinkled.

"What the hell was that for?" Foi growled. He scratched at his hairy chest and Jaygen couldn't help but let his gaze track every movement. His fingers might have itched to run through the hair on Foi's chest but he would never admit that to the man or to anyone else for that matter.

Hearing Cyrus clear his throat behind him made Jaygen all too aware there was an incubus amongst them. No doubt, Cry had scented his arousal. That knowledge made Jaygen’s cheeks burn. He lifted his eyes instantly.

"Come on Foi, we are going to speak with Arden and I would much rather tell the plan the least amount of times possible," Jaygen said.

Foi growled and stood, and it took more than Jaygen wanted to admit to avoid taking Foi all the way in. "So I got pushed out of the fuc—"

Jaygen ate up the space between them in seconds and slapped his hand over Foi's mouth. "If you wake him, it will be your ass," Jaygen said. “And not in the way you like.”

Foi's eyes were defiant as he glared back. Jaygen was about to move his hand when Foi's hot tongue swiped against his palm. Instantly Jaygen dropped his hand to Foi's neck and pulled the wolf taut against him.

Jaygen growled in warning.

Foi's eyes dropped, but still his lips turned up in a smirk. "Kitty need a nap?"

Jaygen tightened his hold on Foi and the wolf dared to groan. Jaygen's body stupidly responded, but he kept his face impassive. "Get dressed now. We are going to talk to Arden."

He pried his hand off of Foi and turned away from the wolf before he pushed him too far and got sidetracked. Jaygen felt safe leaving Ozni to watch over the sleeping Porter as they made their way to Arden.

"There won't be clients tonight," Arden said the moment they made it downstairs. The dragon shifter was busy redoing his bar.

Jaygen's jaw ticked. The way he'd arranged it was more productive and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. “Yes, I assumed as much.”

"Aren't you three supposed to be snuggling with your man?" Arden asked without even turning around to face them.

Cyrus choked. "Wait... you know?"

Arden finally turned to them and his lips tilted into a grin. "Are you asking me if I know all five of you are involved with each other?"

Jaygen wasn't surprised in the least. Arden was an observant and intelligent man. Not to mention how they all acted around each other as of late. They practically had a sign above each of their heads screaming ‘we are screwing’.

"Oh um. See what happen—" Cyrus started but Arden's rich laughter had the incubus stammering to a halt.
