"Cyrus," Jaygen called. "Take Porter up to his room and get him cleaned up. We'll straighten this room."

"Fuck, let me go too," Foi muttered. "There's no come left in my balls and I smell like a sweaty fucking sock."

"Disgusting." Jaygen slapped Foi's ass sharply as he laid stretched out on the floor. "Get up and work or I'll start all over again."

Foi pushed himself up onto his knees. He muttered under his breath, but he began to clean up the mess that they had made.

Cyrus bit his lip. Jaygen wanted him to take Porter? Why? He could have easily gone himself and yet he wanted Cy to do it. When their eyes met, Jaygen lifted his brow and he knew it wasn't a request.

"Yes, Sir."

He climbed off Oz's lap and kissed the man. Ozni caressed his cheek and he saw the affection in his eyes. It made his heart hammer in his chest. All of them had that effect on him. Cy had been called a whore for so many years that he'd really started to believe it. But here were all of these men who didn't care. They wanted him. All of them. And it wasn’t just about sex.

"Come on, Porter," Cy said as he took the man's hand and pulled him up from the couch. "Let's have a bath."

"Mmm a bath sounds nice," Porter slurred. "Help me get dressed."

Cyrus did just that. Once Porter was all covered up he took one last glance at the other three men in the room and smiled. They were all talking, joking. Even Jaygen looked more relaxed after getting to flog Porter and Foi and coming more times than any man should.

Proof everyone needs each other.

He left the other men to clean while he helped Porter up the stairs. Cyrus was more blatant in his nudity and didn't mind walking around without a shred of clothing. He led them into the bathroom and left him sitting on the bench.

"Are you good?"

Porter grinned, still loopy-looking. "I'm amazing."

Cyrus chuckled. "You're adorable. Let's take a quick shower and then we'll soak."

Porter nodded. Cy turned on the shower, getting it ready for them as he thought about Porter. Even though the human was happy now, guilt still twisted his gut whenever he thought about him getting hurt. He hadn't saved Porter, hadn't even tried. It ate away at him and he hated it.

Arms wrapped around Cyrus's body and he jumped. Porter kissing along the back of his neck, his fingers trailing over Cy’s stomach and down his bare thighs. Cy sucked in a breath, his heart racing as he watched Porter touch him in the mirror.

"What are you doing?" Cyrus whispered.

"I've always loved how smooth and creamy your skin is. So pale and pretty," he mumbled against Cy's ear. "And you're always good to me."

Cy swallowed thickly. "I wasn't... Porter, I-"

"Stop." Porter's voice was demanding against his ear and he shivered. "I know you wanted to save me, but trust me, that's impossible. When my father wants something, he gets it. Always. All you would have done was gotten hurt and I would have gotten myself killed over it. I couldn’t watch anything happen to you."

"I still should have tried," Cy whispered.

"For what? So you could get beaten? Or hell, killed?" Porter wrapped a hand around Cy's throat and forced him to look in the mirror. "I'm not going to let you feel bad about this anymore, do you understand me? You are amazing in every way. Cyrus, without you, I never would have felt so welcomed here. You were my first friend and now I want more than that from you."

"You do?" Cyrus blinked away the tears burning his eyes before he laughed. "I kind of thought you would always hate me after I pushed you away that first time."

Porter shook his head. "No, that was on me. You had every right to have boundaries and I was being a spoiled bitch." He placed a kiss on Cy's temple. "Trust me when I say you're my best friend, Cy. I'm so happy to see you with Ozni now. And I love how close we've all gotten. There's nothing to be sorry for."

Cyrus sank against Porter's chest. Now that the human had come down from his sex-crazed, pain-fueled high, he was making entirely too much sense. He understood now why Jaygen had ordered him to bring Porter up. Cyrus needed this. They had to talk. And he couldn't avoid that forever.

"So, you forgive me for being useless?" Cy asked as his eyes met Porters in the mirror. "Even though I couldn't do anything?"

Porter turned him around and he wrapped a hand around his throat. Cyrus gasped, his breathing cut off as he was shoved back until his ass hit the counter. Wide-eyed, he stared up at Porter who had gone from looking dazed and high to pissed off.

"Don't you ever fucking say that about yourself again," he growled. "Without you, I wouldn't have had anyone. I wouldn't have tried so hard to be better here. God, Cyrus! Without you, I would have-" He swallowed thickly before he leveled Cy with an icy gaze. "I would have ended everything if I didn't have you."

Cy's heart squeezed at that information. Had he really been that big of a help? Looking at Porter and seeing the hurt and anger on his face made him realize it was true. Yes, Porter was alive and well because of him.
