Pain sparked along Eldon’s scalp as Arden yanked his head down. Bash didn’t hesitate or stop for one second in his movements. His cock slid in and out of the vampire hitting his prostate with each thrust up.

Arden took Eldon’s mouth in a punishing kiss and all Eldon could do was submit. There was no way he could do much more. His body was in bliss and his mind was long gone.

“Come,” Arden growled.

It didn’t matter who he was talking to because Eldon’s body was obeying regardless. The world around him went dark for a few seconds, and by the time Eldon cracked an eye open, he was on the ground again with Bash draped over him. Micha was passed out on Arden’s chest snoring. Gamble and Spooky were sprawled on the floor next to them breathing heavily covered in just as much come as the vampire.

Eldon couldn’t move a single inch of his body and if someone told him there was a fire he was more likely to be caught up in the flames. He was too sated to even think straight.

“Your mom is going to be so mad at us,” Gamble said.

Eldon groaned in agreeance. They’d for sure made a mess, and with the thick scent of sex in the air, he was certain anyone who walked by the room would know what they’d done.

“I was with my mates, no one will say anything. Mates are a rarity and no dragon would ever question what happens between mates,” Arden said.

Mates. Every time the dragon admitted to it a piece of Eldon’s dead heart melted. He smiled up at Arden and the vampire returned the gesture.

Eldon’s chest ached. He loved them. Every last one of these men who were now his mates.

The tinklingof the piano filled the ballroom along with the strings of a violin. Arden glanced around, his collar a little too tight and his tie annoying the hell out of him.

“Stop fidgeting,” Eldon whispered.

Arden growled. “Hate these damn things,” he muttered. His claws came out, ready to rip the tie to shreds before Eldon grabbed his hand and squeezed gently.

“If you destroy that in front of this room full of people, I will fuck Micha and Spooky in front of you and not let you touch.”

The dragon glared at the vampire beside him. “You’re getting bold, Eldon.”

He shrugged. “What can I say? You bring this side of me out.” A hand gripped his ass and squeezed as Eldon’s smile widened. “We’d better move around. Can’t have people knowing the recently engaged prince has mates.”

Arden nodded. They’d discussed things and decided it was best to keep the truth to a minimum. He would hang out with his new fiance, but he needed all of them to stay close. Otherwise, he wasn’t going to go.

Gamble’s fucking fault for suggesting they all stay in the room while he attended the ball by himself.

He would have to take the witch apart for that stupid ass suggestion later. Which he fully planned to do. Arden watched as Eldon glided away, off to join Micha and Spooky. Micha was desperately trying to stop Spooky from asking more questions to any dragon he could, while Gamble showed off an illusion to a little dragon girl, making her ooh and awww. Bash stayed tucked away in a corner, watching all of them. If Arden didn’t know any better, he’d say the man looked intimidating or mean, but Arden knew the truth. He was simply at his best when he could be himself and be quiet.

“There you are,” Justice called. Her wide smile was warm as she swept over to Arden and gave him a hug. “Wow, you clean up real nice.”

Arden grunted. “Between the servants, my mother, and my mates, I feel like I’ve been scrubbed and yelled at and stuffed into enough goddamned clothes to last a lifetime. I swear to Abraxas I will lose it.”

She chuckled. “Ah, don’t be like that,” she said as she wiped invisible dust off of his suit, fussing over him as she always had. “We have to do our best and put on the most stellar show we can. After all, we are getting married.”

He shook his head at her. “You’re as annoying as always, but you look nice as well,” he said, noting the intricate braid in her hair, the gold and emerald jewelry that dangled off of her, and the sweet scent of perfume. “But, uh, you might want to look over there.”

Justice turned and her eyes widened. Each and every last one of his mates stared at her like they wanted to rip her head off. Eldon’s fangs were out and Micha seemed to be keeping both him and Bash from coming over. Arden couldn’t quite make out what he was saying over the noise, but he saw the way the angel’s mouth moved and he tried to push them back.

“Oh my.” Justice chuckled. “Murderous bunch of mates you have there.” She groaned. “Not that Mya’s much better.”

The woman in question had her arms folded over her chest as she glared at both Arden and Justice. Her brown cheeks were dusted with pink and she looked like she was about to pop a gasket.

Arden and Justice looked at each other and burst out laughing. The dragons around them stared, confused as to what was so funny, but they couldn’t stop themselves. By the time they calmed down, Arden’s stomach ached and Justice wiped at her eyes.

“We’re in trouble, aren’t we?” she asked.

“More than you can understand,” Arden grunted. He thanked a servant that walked by with a tray in his hand. “I’d better go over soon and speak to them about their faces.”

Justice waved a hand. “Oh let them all be mad a little while longer. We need to make this room of old scales and claws think that we’re really together. And besides, angry sex is the best kind,” she purred.
