Page 6 of Cocky Caveman

“Fair warning,” he repeats.

“Oh, shut up!”I will not admire his butt.

There is tittering coming from the mouths of babes and a few more resonant, masculine sounds of amusement.

I swing my arm around from my upside-down position, pointing to no one in particular.

“Nobody says a word!”

A mini quake shakes me. The caveman oaf is standing on the spot with me upside down and laughing—hard.

“Why aren’t you moving?”

“I’m enjoying being a caveman. It feels good.” He places one hand on his hip as though he’s a peacock showing off. “And allow me to introduce myself. The name is Tucker.”

Keanu and Levi bark out laughing.

I raise my head and mock scowl at them. “Because you boys find this so funny, would you like to make a wager?” I call out to the laughing duo.

Keanu is the first to can his laughter. “We are always up for a friendly bet. What do you have in mind, honey?”

“Fifty dollars, I can make this caveman set me on my feet before we get to the counter without lifting a finger.”

“You’re on,” they both say together.

“Not a chance, Hamlet.” Tucker turns his head and murmurs for my ears. “You’re mine.”

“I’m nobody’s,” I deadpan while fighting with my ponytail to keep it out of my mouth. Blood is rushing to my head. I need to get vertical.

“Glad to hear it, Spitfire.”

I roll my eyes at Keanu and Levi, knowing they are the only two who can see me. “Look and learn, boys.”

Both the lads are leaning on the counter, eager to see what I have in mind.

Tucker starts walking.

Loudly, I say, “With my arse so close to the caveman’s face, it’s good to know I have some gas in my tank. And I don’t mean fuel.”And before you think, ‘Eewww, that’s gross.’ It would be the least Tucker deserves for throwing me over his shoulder.

“You. Wouldn’t. Dare!” Tucker’s hard muscular body rumbles.

“I had beans for brekky. Anybody turning their nose up… we all do it, but there’s a time and a place, and this just might be the time.”To be clear. No, I wouldn’t because it would be disgusting, but he doesn’t know that, and I have a bet to win.

Keanu and Levi are nearly on the floor; they laugh so hard.

“Hamlet, you need to go on a date with this guy. It would be so much fun for Tucker,” Keanu manages to say before putting his palm over his mouth to smother his laughter.

“You… wouldn’t?” Tucker sounds unsure. His hand slides up my thighs until it hits my arse. He’s copping a feel!

“Try me.”

I place Hamlet gently down several feet from the counter and watch her spin on her heel and march the rest of the distance, with her hips swaying in defiance.
