“I agree, but we need to spend time together when we’re not working.”
“Yes, but how?”
“Would you consider inviting me to stay at your place occasionally?”
“Absolutely.”
He thanked her with a searing kiss. “How about letting me share your bed?”
“Anytime.” She pressed herself against him, initiating the next round of kisses.
He wasn’t taking any chances. “How about I move Dalia back into her room, and take her place in your bed?”
“That’s a fabulous idea.” She stood and offered her hand.
He reached for it and followed her down the hall.
Sienna opened her bedroom door, gathered the three teddies lying on the bed, and tucked them in Dalia’s arms. Tyler bent, scooped up the little girl, and carried her to her room. Her mother removed the comforter. He brushed Dalia’s forehead with a kiss, lowered her to the bed, and covered her. She never awakened.
Sienna closed her door, turned toward him, and wound her arms around his neck.
“I don’t want to waste another moment without you.”
He cupped her cheeks, gave her a scorching kiss, and walked her to her bed for a long night of love.
