“It’s all g. It got me out of class.” I fake a smile, and Shaun, who’s sitting on the other side of Garrett, leans forward.

“What happened with Mr F?”

“Nothing,” I say as Tillie talks over me.

“He went off at Rhys. I’ve never seen him so mad. It was all harmless fun, but man, did he have a stick up his arse today?”

“What do you mean he went off at Rhys?” The anger that flares across Shaun’s face can’t be hidden. Dude needs to chill, or he’s going to make things too obvious.

“Well, I kinda asked him if she could teach another lesson in semen, and then Alex wanted to know about the health benefits of mickey juice, and well… Rhys gave the facts. Then he went crazy, screaming at her and kicked her out of class.”

“What!” Shaun hisses, and I roll my eyes.

“He didn’t go crazy. He asked me to stop repeatedly, and I ignored him. Of course, he got angry and kicked me out. It’s what I wanted, anyway. I didn’t want to sit in class.”

“Hedidgo crazy, Rhys. I’ve never heard him yell like that. I think I peed a little.” Tillie admits.

I haven’t heard him yell like that either. It pissed me off and made me sad at the same time, just confusing me even more.

Without another word, Shaun leaps up and storms towards the courtyard exit.

Shit.

Leaping up from the comfort of Garrett Cole’s arms, I chase after Shaun, snatching his hand to stop him before he reaches the exit.

“Stop. Just leave it.” I beg quietly as he turns to me.

“No fucking way.” He hisses quietly back, his eyes darting around to check if anyone can hear us. “What the fuck is his problem?”

My face softens at the concern etched across Shaun’s face, and I step up into his personal space, gripping the lapels of his blazer and tugging him to me.

“I overstepped. He can’t let me get away with something like that without it being obvious. He explained as much to me in the hall before I went to my mum’s office. It’s no big deal.”

Shaun frowns. “Itisa big deal, Kitten. I know you would have hated that.”

I nod. “Yep. I did hate it. Things are… tense between Ty and me right now. Honestly…” I duck my head when I feel heat prick the back of my eyes. “I think he’s having second thoughts about us.” I look back up at Shaun’s frowning face. “It was bound to happen. I’m just a kid, after all.”

“No.” Shaun pulls me to his chest, gripping the back of my head, “You’re not just a kid, Kitten. You are so much more. You’re a woman. A Queen.MyQueen.”

I cling to Shaun as we stand in the middle of the walkway, students brushing past us as they come out or into the courtyard.

“Wanna explain your reaction?” Marcus’ voice comes from behind me, and Shaun glances over my head at his mate. My mum allowed Marcus to return to school this week due to exams starting tomorrow. It’s nice to have him back.

“Not really,” Shaun mutters, and I feel hands grip my hips as Marcus presses up behind me.

“I didn’t think so. You two are suss as fuck. You know that?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Shaun drags his gaze from Marcus back down to me. “Is there anything I can do, Kitten?”

I shake my head. “No.”

I could tell Shaun about the message from Master Hill, but he’ll try to stop me from going, and we all know what happens when I ignore someone's demands. Nope, I can’t tell Shaun. I can’t tell anyone. With this, I’m on my own.

The guys and I return to our spot in the courtyard, this time with Marcus clinging to my side and Simon playing a quiet game of Simon Says with me that involves a lot of kissing.

By now, it’s obvious to the student body that I’m with four guys. I feel eyes on us everywhere we go. Either people are curious, disgusted, or envious. I don’t care either way. I love what I have with these guys. I just hope that my parents will love it when they realise what’s going on.

When lunch is over, Simon asks me to come over for dinner, the thought sending a little thrill through my veins as I remember the last time I went to his place for dinner. We ate each other, and just the thought has me practically drooling.
