Where the fuck did she get that from?

“Wooo-hooo!” Tillie squeals. “Shots for everyone!”

“No way. Tonight, we are swigging straight from the bottle.” Rhys declares. It takes me a moment to realise that her hair isn’t in buns like usual. It’s tied up in a high pony, something else I’ve never seen her wear, and her face is makeup-free. I love her like this, but I can’t imagine she went to the prison like that. Did she go home and change before coming here?

“Are you as worried as I am?” Garrett asks quietly as he comes to stand next to me.

“Yep. She’s in reckless mode.” I sigh, wishing she didn’t invite the others over. “But I guess the fact that she’s here and not off somewhere else getting herself into trouble is a good thing.”

“It’s a very good thing.” Marcus’ voice comes from my other side, startling me. When did he get there?

Simon ignores us entirely, pushing through the girls, walking right up to Rhys. “It’s so good to see you, Cherry.” She hardly has a moment to realise what’s going on before he throws his arms around her, pulling her close. He whispers something in her ear, and whatever it is, causes her lids to flutter closed, her hand to hold up the bottle for someone to take, and her head to hide in the crook of his neck.

Lexi grabs the bottle before it slips from her hand, and they all scatter, moving away to find somewhere to sit while Rhys and Simon stay locked together in an embrace. Simon’s top 40 playlist is playing, and when Tillie turns the volume up to Arizona Zervas’ song, Roxanne, Rhys and Simon start swaying to the music.

“I feel like we should give them some privacy or something.” Garrett mumbles.

“Or join them.” I massage the back of my neck, wishing I was the one holding her in my arms.

“Let’s get our girl a drink and some food. Let her lead the way tonight.” Garrett reasons, and I nod.

“The others are leaving in two hours,” Marcus grumbles, and Gaz and I turn to look at him.

“They said they are leaving in two hours?” I frown, and Marcus shakes his head.

“Nope. That’s when I’m kicking them out.” He storms off before I can disagree with him, moving to his cousin’s side to talk quietly with him. He’s probably telling Ayden that he needs to get everyone to leave by eight. He’s obviously forgotten how much our girl likes to party.

Moving to the table where Lexi placed the bottle of tequila, I crack the lid and take a swig before handing it to Garrett, where he does the same. Then I take the bottle over to Rhys, still locked in Simon’s embrace.

“Drink Kitten?” I hold up the bottle when her eyes appear over Simon’s shoulder.

“Yes, please.” She offers me a smile, reaching up to clasp the bottle, pressing it to her naturally pink lips, tipping her head back to have a guzzle. Now that I’m closer to her, I can see that her eyes are red and bloodshot and a little puffy. She’s not crying right now, but she has been crying. And a lot.

When she’s had her fill, she pulls back from Simon and offers him the bottle, where he takes his own sip, not quite as big as our girl just did. As he drinks, she reaches her arm out to me, gesturing me forward, and I step into her, accepting her shared embrace with Simon.

“Are you…” Shit, that’s a stupid question. Are you alright?Of course, she’s not fucking alright. Why did I lead with that?

A slight grin tugs at her lips. “I feel so much better now that I’m here with you guys.”

Not able to hold back, I press my forehead to hers and sigh, looking into her chocolate pools through both our lashes. “I’ve been so worried, Kitten. We all have.”

“So Simon tells me.” She says softly before closing her eyes and pressing her lips to mine. Her lips are warm and fresh with no barrier of lipstick, her tongue tasting of the tequila she just downed.

“You smell so good, Cherry,” Simon mumbles close to our heads, and although I’m still kissing Rhys, I pry my eyes open to see Simon nuzzling her neck.

If you had told me I’d be getting up close with my mates and a girl a few months ago, I would have laughed and probably felt really fucking uncomfortable. Now, though, it feels right. Strangely, I don’t hate the idea of seeing Simon’s bare arse thrusting as he pounds Kitten. Maybe that makes me weird, but it sure as shit makes me perfect for Rhys George.

“You guys gonna let our girl breathe?” Marcus’ annoyed tone meets our ears, and I slowly break our kiss to find Marcus glaring.

“What’s wrong, Marc? You want in on the action?” Kitten teases.

I can’t hide my smirk, and apparently, neither can Simon, because Marcus hisses at him like he’s a fucking snake. That guy gives me whiplash. One minute he seems fine with sharing our girl, and the next, he goes all possessive and shit. I get that he’s still trying to wrap his head around the idea, but I have to admit, I don’t feel like this possessive part is ever going to go away.

“I don’t think there should be anyaction,Rhee. I think we need to talk about what happened today.” Marcus reaches for Rhys, but her shoulders drop, and she steps away from all of us.

“Just because that’s whatyouthink, Grady, doesn’t mean it’s whatIwant. I’m not here to give more pieces of me away. I’m here to get fucked up and take what I need, so if you can’t handle it, then perhaps you should leave.”

Everyone falls silent. If it weren’t for the music playing, it would be more uncomfortable than it already is. I hold my breath waiting for Marcus to explode, hoping like hell that he won’t, because then I’ll have to kick his arse, but it never comes.
