“Ready for what?” I smirk, my brows dipping in confusion at his playful tone.

“Ready for our future.”

My brows shoot up this time. “Our future?” I ask, my eyes shifting from his face to take in the open plan living area, which looks the same as the last time I was here, except now there’s a big dining table off to the side of the kitchen. “What does that mean, exactly?”

He chuckles, moving past the floating fireplace. “It means I’ve been making a few adjustments to my home to accommodate my new family.”

My eyes shoot to his smirking face. “What adjustments?”

He shrugs, the movement pulling my arms with it since they are still wrapped around his neck. “I decked out the basement. It’s now fit for a boy band to do boy band stuff in.”

“What?” I screech. “You mean you’re ok with the guys coming here?”

“Yes, Kitten. We all share you, so we may as well have a space that we can do that in once they are all eighteen. Assuming they are ok with it.”

“Ty,” I whisper, and he stops walking, his deep blue eyes connecting with mine. “You’re really ok with them? You’re really ok with opening your home to all of us?”

He smiles warmly, his eyes filling with emotion. “One day, I will marry you, and hell, if you have any say in the matter, you will probably be married to all five of us at once. I’m well aware that I’m theold guyin this situation, but it also has its perks. Like the fact I have a home for us to live in. Money to support you while you build yourself a career or do more studies. This house has always been too big for just me,” he shrugs, “so having the others fill the space isn’t that bad of an idea. As long as they stay in their boy band basement and stay the fuck out of my bedroom.”

His growl is serious, matching his frown, yet I find it more adorable than anything.

“Show me the boy band basement.”

“Later.” He rasps, turning serious. “I need to show you something in my bedroom.”

I giggle as he passes through the kitchen. “Is it your pretty cock?”

A smirk tugs at his lips again as he tries to fight it off. “Not exactly.”

“Now I’m intrigued.” I grin, studying his face as he carries me across the glass-lined passage and into his bedroom. He eases me down on his bed and slowly steps back, his eyes moving to the side of the room, so I follow his gaze.

There’s some sort of timber frame running across the room from one wall to the other, with thick black rings hanging from it.

“Uh… What’s that?”

Ty shifts nervously in front of me, glancing from the beam to me. “It’s something I was hoping to try with you. I just installed it a few days ago.”

“You didn’t answer my question, Daddy. What is that?” For some reason, his nervousness is making me nervous, and I notice my hands going clammy.

Obviously seeing my discomfort, Ty falls to his knees on the plush carpet in front of me and takes my hands in his, locking his deep blue eyes to mine. “Have you heard of Shibari, Kitten?”

“Uh yeah, I think so. That’s bondage stuff, right?” I frown as I speak, feeling a little more anxious. Garrett, Simon, Shaun and Marcus have been helping me work through my trauma from the day I was attacked, and things are relatively back to normal. All except the restraint thing.

Tyler nods. “Shibari is Japanese bondage.”

My breathing starts to shallow as my eyes lock onto the black rings.

Keep calm, Rhys. Ty won’t hurt you.

“You want to try Shibari?”

“Well, technically, I've tried it before, years ago at a club I used to go to, but I was hoping to try it with you now.”

My eyes dart back to his, which are studying me closely. There’s no way he missed the hitch in my breathing. A flash of embarrassment hits me, and for the first time with Ty, I feel insecure.

“I don’t think I can,” I whisper, feeling the flush of humiliation heat my cheeks. “I’m not ready.”

Ty nods. “We can ease into it, Kitten. We don’t have to do anything big just yet.”
