“That kid’s crazy, but he’s growing on me. Most of them are,” Tilly said, a content smile forming on her lips. “I’m clocking out. See any movies you want to get?”
“Yeah, a couple. How about this one?” I asked, pointing to the box in my hands.
“You’re gloating,” Tilly said, pursing her lips together in a dramatic pout.
“I totally am.”
She sighed. “I’ll allow it. But only because you’re so cute.”
“You know I’m going to stare at your ass when you walk away, right? I mean, I’m just making sure you know that. Full disclosure and all.”
“You’d better,” she said with a wink, then gave me a playful wiggle as she strutted to the back room.
God, I love this girl.
