The text arrived just as I muscled my way into a cab. Close to bowling over a waiting passenger, I jumped in.

Of course, traffic crawled along, with me yelling at the driver to step on it. It wasn’t my finest hour.

When we finally arrived, I slipped into the reception and asked about Ivy. Of course, she refused to tell me where to find her.

While scratching my head, wondering if they even performed procedures there, Summer arrived carrying a magazine and some snacks.

She smiled and said, “Oh good, you found it okay.”

“Where’s Ivy?”
