Slapping his arm, I said, “I don’t want to be ogled by a stranger.”

“Why not? You’re hot.”

I studied him. “So you like the idea of men seeing me naked?”

“From a distance, maybe. I’d hate anyone to touch you.”

“But it’s okay for them to look?”

He thought about this for a moment. “Maybe not. I liked you stripping down to your underwear at that karaoke burlesque night. That made me hard.”

I rubbed his dick, which stiffened. “Everything makes you hard.”

“That’s not true.” His smirk faded away. “I’m always aroused around you, Ivy. But it’s not like that with other women. That’s why I want to marry you.”

“Just because I make you hard?”

He sniffed. “No. I just can’t imagine you not being in my life.” He trapped my eyes into a Tantric gaze for a moment.

Snapping out of his trance, he said, “Stay there. I’ll get your dress.”

I shook my head. “If you’re game, then so am I.”

We ran to our clothes, and after we were dressed, Chase waved at the pair. “Nice day.”

They nodded and looked away quickly.

I laughed. “They were more embarrassed than me.”

“It’s pretty conservative around these parts.”

He took my hand, and we practically skipped back to the house.

After having the house to ourselves for a night, it felt a little jarring when Chase’s parents arrived an hour after our swim. And not long after them, Hunter and Sara traipsed in.

After changing Dylan’s diaper, they seemed thrilled to see their son toddling around, threatening to destroy everything within reach, which they described as creative curiosity. I described it as potential destruction, considering the breakable knickknacks adorning the living room.

Within minutes, Liam and Ambrose waltzed in, and there we were, a houseful of people.

Chase headed into the kitchen and mixed mimosas and a jug of margaritas.

“Are you the designated barman?” I asked, watching as he poured the lemony liquid into a jug.

“Yep. I earned this role last summer. We had a margarita competition, and I won.” He looked proud of himself.

I sipped a sample and instantly fell in love with the complex blend of flavors. “Yum. It’s a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spirit.”

By late afternoon, I lounged around with Liam and Sara, while Hunter and his mother chased Dylan around.

“This is my first drink in weeks, and it tastes fantastic. I’m already tipsy after two sips.” Sara laughed.

“Chase makes a mean margarita.” Liam took a sip, and his face lit up. “Yay. Look at us. Here all together. This is going to be a scream.”

“When do the guests arrive?” I asked.

“In a couple of hours, I’d say. Chase is DJing.”

“Oh. He didn’t mention that,” I said.
