“It’s incredible. Their sounds are converted using a computer programme. Come.”

Kendra led her inside the enclosure and as the low rumble hit Sarah’s ears her heart melted. The pleasure she saw in Kendra’s expression touched something deep inside her. The idea that this was just the start of their future together was too incredible for words. She stood on the balcony overlooking the enclosure with Kendra at her side holding her hand tightly. Her eyes watered, and a tear slipped onto her cheek. She brushed it away and cleared her throat. “I’m feeling quite overwhelmed.”

“We’re going to work on a tiger preservation project next.” Kendra looked at Sarah. “You’ll love it.”

Sarah held her gaze. “I am the luckiest woman alive.”

“There’s so much to explore here, Sarah. Whenever I’ve seen something new, I’ve wondered what you would think of it. I’m going to love watching you discover this place and wherever else we decide to go.”

Sarah felt Kendra’s enthusiasm in the warmth that filled her. She couldn’t wait to enjoy exploring anything and everything with Kendra. She wanted to share everything with her. “Did I tell you how much I love you?”

Kendra bit her lip. “You can tell me again.” She wrapped her arms around Sarah’s waist and kissed her. “And again.”

“I love you.”

“And again.” Kendra laughed.

Sarah wrapped her arms around Kendra’s neck and silenced her with a kiss that showed her love in a way words never could.
