My head dropped back, and he sealed his lips to mine, stealing the moan from my mouth. A few seconds later, he stuttered as his hips slammed into me one last time, and he held himself tightly to me as he jerked inside. Pulling our lips apart, we stared at one another in the darkness, and I knew that everything he’d said was true. There weren’t any more secrets between us, and I looked at him for the first time as my true self.

“I love you,” I whispered, needing to put it out into the world, adding to the sounds of our love in the night.

“I love you.” He smiled, pecking my lips before he slowly pulled out. My calves screamed at me from the position as I lowered back to the ground.

“You ready to face them?” he asked as he picked up our clothes, handing me mine first.

“Yeah. Plus, I’m starting to get cold, and if we stay out here much longer, I doubt we’ll get away with what we did.”

“It’s cute you think we did.”

Laughing, I got dressed and found Asa holding out his hand for me when I was done. Placing mine in his, we walked into the hotel room together, ready to face our next adventure.

We found Milo asleep on the bed, while Cohen busily worked on his laptop. He looked up at our entrance, closing the lid and moving around the bed toward us. He stopped in front of me, worry etched on his brow as he searched my eyes for something.

“I promise, there aren’t any other secrets. I told my handler that I wouldn’t keep anything from you anymore. He agreed as long as I can get you to come to the Order and see it for yourself before you make up your mind.”

“Okay,” I said, stopping whatever speech he had planned.

“Wait, you’re not going to fight me on this?” His brow arched up as he looked between Asa and I.

“No. I’ll see what they have to say. If they can help, then I’m willing to listen. Did you discover anything on the IP address?”

“It’s running through a program that’s looking for all possibilities. I’m beginning to wonder though if maybe it’s not an IP address but a location of a server.”

“What makes you think that?” I asked, just as I yawned. “You know what, never mind. Let's get some sleep. I’m tired. We can discuss it in the morning. There’s been a lot to unpack today,”

“Seems like you unpacked something on the balcony,” he teased and I rolled my eyes, trying to hide the blush.

Walking into the bathroom, I quickly washed my face, peed, and cleaned myself up before I got ready for bed, changing my clothes. When I found both Asa and Cohen standing at the foot of the bed when I emerged, I wasn’t sure what the problem was.

“Everything okay?” I asked, adjusting my glasses.

“Yeah, it’s just…” Asa pointed toward the bed, and I realized that Milo had spread out in our absence. “He looks so peaceful. How do we tell him to move?”

Giggling, I walked over and took Milo’s glasses, which had gone crooked in his sleep. Brushing his hair over, I waited for him to wake up.

He blinked slowly, looking at me with adoration I didn’t feel I deserved, but Sawyer’s words to embrace the affection and let the guys tell me how they felt helped me not dismiss it.

“You want to change into something more comfortable? I’m sure the guys can give you something.” I peeked over my shoulder, finding Asa already holding out a pair of sweats and a shirt. Taking it from him, I placed it on Milo’s chest. His hands clasped onto mine, holding them for a second.

“Did you decide what you’re going to do?” he asked as he began to sit up. I went to hand him his glasses but stopped when he started to untie his bowtie and unbutton his shirt. When I didn’t say anything, he stopped, looking up at me. I didn’t know how good his vision was without his glasses, so I tried to school my features to make it less obvious I was checking him out.

“Hm?” I asked, the guys chuckling behind me. I’d somehow forgotten that even though Milo might not be able to see me, Asa and Cohen could. “Oh, right, yes, I guess we’re all going in the morning.”

“Me too?” he asked.

“Yes, I’d like for you to if you wanted. Asa said you had some time off?”

“I do. I just didn’t want to assume.”

“Oh, well, yes, mmhmm.” After confirming him joining us, Milo continued undressing, stripping down to his boxers.

“Is this okay?” he asked, looking around the room. “I usually sleep naked, but I figured that wouldn’t be appreciated.”

“Speak for yourself,” Cohen mumbled, making me smile.

“Yeah, it’s um, fine with me,” I said, a little too brightly. “You okay to share with us? It might be a tight squeeze.”
