My eyes wandered over to their table absentmindedly, and I saw both of them staring at me. It made the anxiety in my belly jump, and I felt nauseated. That makes sense…Ofcourse,it was them causing the jitters. I was nervous about what would happen now.

From where we sat, I couldn’t tell if my eyes were playing tricks on me or not, but it looked like Asher had a black eye, and Damian had at least a busted lip. Though there appeared to be shadows on his face as well that may have been bruises. What the hell had happened to them in the last twelve hours?

Justin let out a sound that sounded almost like a groan, and I looked back at him. “I’ll take that as a yes,” he said.

I nodded. “It was parents’ weekend. I needed the hell out of Crestview, so I tried to leave. Damian and Asher showed up. I wasn’t really thinking because I was crying, compliments of running into Harper and… her dad.”

I hoped they didn’t notice the unintentional pause or the hitch in my voice. It was getting harder to deny who Rick was to me, but I had little choice until we found Lily and the people working with her who targeted me because of Rick.

“I’m about sick of Harper’s shit,” Luna snapped. “Say the word, and I’ll kick the scrawny little blonde bitch’s ass.”

Harper had done enough to me by then that I couldn’t help but laugh at Luna’s protective offer of violence, but there was still a part of me that wanted to protect my shithead little sister.

“Na. It’ll pass. I’m sure of it. One of two things will happen. She’ll either get bored and move on to her next target, or the school year will end, and I’ll be rid of her. We’re both seniors. As long as one of us passes, I’m rid of her.”

Justin nodded, but I could feel the table vibrating from him bouncing his knee. He did that a lot when bored. “So, what happened with the douchebag twins?” He pretty much blurted it out, which surprised me a little because he was usually calm as hell. “Sorry. Just curious.”

I chuckled at his impatience and continued. “Like I said, I wasn’t really thinking because I was so upset over it being parents’ weekend and seeing Harper. So, I told Damian and Asher if they were capable of calling a truce for the day, they could get in. Otherwise, to get the fuck out of my way.” Luna was clearly shocked and interested by my story, so I continued. “I wanted to go somewhere. Get into some trouble maybe. I didn’t know. I just needed the fuck away from Crestview. I told them to direct me to somewhere fun, and Damian gave me directions to his house. I had no clue where we were going until we got there, but we ended up staying the whole weekend.”

Justin’s eyes widened. “You stayed withbothof them… thewholeweekend? At Damian’s place?”

“Did you guys…” Luna gave me a hilarious expression and allowed that to complete her question.

I laughed. “Uh… yes.” I snorted and covered my face with my hands. “We had aseriouslyhot three-way in the shower Saturday morning. Sunday morning, I was really, reallyfucking sore from the day before, so we had a lazy, fun, but still super sexy, snuggle fuck in Damian’s bed. Nothing super crazy, I guess?”

“Nothingcrazy!?” Justin said. “Three-ways aren’tcrazyto you? You’d never even had one! I’d say that’s pretty fuckingcrazy… To have two in one weekend. Especially withthem.”

Luna snorted. “Why are you so butthurt over this? You never act this way when I tell you about the crazy shit I get up to. Like that four-way in the girls’ locker room last year after gym.”

“That’s different,” Justin said, his tone a bit defensive.

“How? Because it was a four-way of girls? Or because…oooh.”

“‘Oooh’what?” I asked.

Luna shook her head. “Nothing.” The look she shared with Justin right then made me less than convinced that it was nothing. “Anyway, continue.”

“Uh, o…kay.” I shifted in my seat, trying to get comfortable. I felt even stranger than before. “Uh, anyway. We stayed from Friday night until late yesterday evening. It was fun. Alotof fun, actually. They were on their best behavior. They actually took the truce seriously. We stayed in. I cooked a few times for them. Damian made breakfast yesterday. Asher made some Korean food Saturday night. They were actually a hell of a lot of fun to be around. I hated to see it come to an end.”

“And the three-way in the shower?” Justin asked.

I shrugged. “I went up to take a shower, and they came in a few minutes later. It was spontaneous and fun. I can’t believe I did it.” I laughed, and Luna laughed with me, but Justin didn’t seem as amused.

“Yeah, I can’t believe it, either,” Justin said, a little bite in his tone.

I looked at him with obvious confusion, and I wasn’t sure I could hide the offense I’d taken from my expression, either. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

He shrugged. “Just that they treat you like shit all the fucking time, and the first chance you get, you go over there and play house with them and fuck them for three days. How can you do that? Do you haveanyrespect for yourself?”

“Justin!” Luna snapped. “What the hell kind of slut shaming bullshit wasthat? Whoareyou right now?”

I stood slowly and leaned over the table, leveling him with a stare. “You weren’t fucking complaining when it wasyou, now were you? When you had me on the hood of your car, putting on ashowfor those two when it wasyouridea? I wasn’t a whore then, was I?”

“Tempe—”

“No.” I stood. “Don’t bother. I don’t know what the hellthis”—I gestured with open hands—“is, but you can shove it up your ass.”

I grabbed my tray and took it to the front so the cleaning crew wouldn’t have to. Then I stormed out of the cafeteria. It was almost time for gym, so I decided to use the time to get changed without prying eyes or worry about the other girls.
