He dragged his body over mine. Our lips were within a single beat. He was staring down at me and the way he did made my heart pound with the intensity of his gaze.
His throat rose and fell in a quick gulp, which slightly parted his lips and I watched the swallow and knew he had something to say to me.
But I stopped it when I reached up and narrowed the short distance and touched my mouth with his, closing the space in one long, searing, passionate kiss. His hand curled into the back of my head, his fingers combed through as he brought us closer. And it didn’t take long to be lost in the moment, and common sense flew out of the window. I slicked my tongue against his. He groaned, and the sound vibrated in my mouth and then through all of me, making my skin prickle and goose bumps popped along my skin because that’s what he seemed to do to me.
I pulled away and smiled. “I suppose we better get ready. I’ve got lectures all morning,” I said.
“Me too, but I don’t want to leave you.”
I smiled at him, but this time I stopped and really looked at him. My gaze running all over his sharp but not overly angled handsome face, but as usual I stopped at his sky-blue eyes, beautiful and surrounded by eyelashes which were as black as his silky hair.
“You’re gorgeous,” I said, my gaze lowering to his luscious pink lips. Lips which were swollen from the amount of kissing we had done. “But I suppose you know that.”
“I like you think it,” he said. His smile was as lazy as the sex we’d had the night before. Once he realised I had a stash of condoms, he never let up for most of the night, and he had a lot of stamina, but we kept the sex quiet.
“Any condoms left in that drawer,” he said with a slow grin.
“No, I need a few days to recover,” I said and laughed. “You’ve ruined me.”
“Good, I want you for myself.”
“Blake... you have to accept the others. I can’t have two separate knight groups.”
“I do,” he said, but I knew he didn’t. This wasn’t something new to him, but he admitted he no longer wanted to share. That snippet of information was a surprise, but my knights were my men, each of them, and if Blake wanted to be part of that, he needed to work on it.
“You certainly didn’t mind getting involved last night,” I said and smirked.
He groaned and stopped.
“Blake, is everything okay?” I asked.
“It shouldn’t be like this,” he said, and I detected a hint of vulnerability in his voice. “You shouldn’t have anyone but me. I want you for myself. Just me and you.”
“And I want you Blake.” Moving my face to his, I kissed him quick, once, twice. “Blake, I’ve liked you since that first day we met. When I looked over my shoulder and you smiled at me,” I said. “And if you’d have made a move back then. Just you and me, I mean.” I stopped talking and sighed. “It could have been different.”
“Lacey,” he whispered.
I pushed my index finger against his lip and shook my head. “You can’t bind with me if you can’t accept it. The bind is forever and I want to bind with you because I know I love you, but I know that love will get stronger if we bind, and that will be hard on both of us.”
He nodded, and his lips pressed on mine. “I can accept it,” he said, but there was a flash of uncertainty behind his eyes. “After last night, they’ll accept me because we’ve all shared something together. Does Ryan always like to watch?”
I nodded my head. I hated talking about the others in this way. There was always a code between us. “That and oral. He is a giver.”
“I still haven’t tasted you,” Blake said. “I’m waiting until I can’t wait anymore. Waiting until you can’t wait anymore.”
I grinned for a moment. “I hope you won’t be dissatisfied when it happens,” I said, really hoping he wouldn’t be.
“In fact, when we bind, that’s when I’m saving it.”
“Saving it... Oh, I’m intrigued,” I said, pushing my thighs together, feeling the heat building up already.
“Do we need a condom?” Blake said, one side of his lips curled up. The man seemed to know what I needed and right now, this talk or just being with him. I needed him.
I nodded.
“I thought you were ruined.”
“I need to be a little more ruined, but we’ll have to be quick.”
