“I love you all so much. I’m so sorry for hurting you. I promise it hurt me far more to let you go.”

“That should have been your first clue not to do it,” Kingston mumbled.

“Says the man who purposely seeks out pain,” Noah said.

Kingston smirked. “Touché.”

I bit down on my lip, shaking my head at their teasing even though my heart was still heavy. “Can you forgive me?”

“There’s nothing to forgive. We can fix it.” Kingston trailed his fingers over the place my mark had been.

“Aye, we can, and we will.” Caleb, who’d been so quiet until now, finally joined us, his words strong and determined. “Perhaps this time we can find a way to all do it together.”

“You asking for an orgy, Priest?”

“I was thinking more along the lines of a proper mating ceremony since you were all so put out by ours.”

“Oh. Yeah, that sounds good too. Ceremony first, orgy after.” Kingston held out his fist to Noah. “Priorities, right?”

I loved how playful those two were with each other now. The suggestion of a mating ceremony between us all, and the fact that it came from Caleb, meant so much. “I love that idea. We can do it right. No one feels left out. If I have any regrets about the way we did our marks, it’s that.”

“When? Now?” Alek took my hand and ran his thumb over my knuckles.

“Not now. I need a little time. Today has been... a lot. We should plan this. Celebrate with the people who are important to us.”

“Like a wedding? You gonna wear a white dress, Sunshine?”

“Do you want me to? Pretty sure no one is going to believe I’m a virgin, Kingston.” Eden let out a soft little snore, underscoring my words and making us all chuckle. I couldn’t resist running a finger over her chubby cheek, smiling up at Alek, who shifted her so I had better access.

“I just want something I can rip off.”

“That can be arranged. We can do it at the ranch. Bring some light to a place with dark memories?”

The look on Kingston’s face had me near tears. “Fuck. Mama would love that.”

“Are you crying, Kingston?” Noah asked, amusement in his voice.

“I’m not fucking crying. I have... allergies.”

“Will the wolves be okay with vampires around?” Caleb asked.

“I’m their Alpha. They’ll accept you, or they can leave. The five of us are pack.”

“Six,” I corrected.

He smiled and gazed down at Eden cradled and sleeping soundly in Alek’s arms. “Six.”

I reached out and took her from my Viking, my whole body aching with the depth of my love for this little person we’d made. She yawned, and her eyelids fluttered. Big, soulful eyes stared back at me, one a deep blue, the other amber. “Oh, look at you. You are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”

“She’s magic, Sunny. Our magic.”

I glanced over at Caleb, who stood next to me, tense, his jaw clenched tight, brow furrowed. He was uneasy. Worried.

“Come meet your daughter, Caleb. She’s as much yours as she is theirs.”

He glanced at the others, then back at the bundle in my arms. “It’s okay. I can wait my turn.”

“Itisyour turn, mate. We’ve all gotten to hold her.”
