“It’s not like we haven’t done it before. Remember Emily Davis back from my JROTC camp?”

“When we found out that we were all dating her at the same time?” Duncan asked. “How the hell could I forget?”

“Right!” I exclaimed. “We were all into her, and none of us cared. Emily didn’t even care – if anything, she was happy to have the attention from all three of us. We got what we wanted, and she got what she wanted. Everyone was happy.”

“But that was a weird, one-off thing,” Jay admitted. “Emily was fun, but she was, ah, different. I doubt Dream’s anything like her.”

“Yeah, but do you know that for sure?” I asked. “It’s 2021 – times are different. People are cooler with, uh, unconventional arrangements like that.”

Duncan laughed. “Loving how this conversation started out with us talking about how we’re all into Dream then ended up with us considering the idea of sharing her. What if she’s not into that?”

“Then so what?” Jay asked. “If Dream’s down with all three of us, then cool. But if she wants one of us or none of us, then c’est la vie, right?”

“Yeah,” I agreed. “All I know is that I’ll be kicking my own ass if I don’t try, even if I have to compete with my own brothers. And wouldn’t it be nice if we didn’t have to compete with each other?”

Duncan grinned. “Alright, I think this could work. If she wants it. But we’d be cool if she chose just one - or even none - of us too, right?”

I nodded. “Of course. And we won’t be too pushy about it, let her have some space, and she can come to us on her own time, and we can just see what happens.”

Jay seemed to think it over for a second before saying, “Alright, I’m game. We don’t have to compete for her, we’ll see who she wants, and we can always share if it comes down to that. After all, Dream is a special woman.”

“If it gets you even considering dating someone, then she certainly is,” Duncan said with a wink toward Jay.
