When she’d finally come out of her little awkward phase she’d emerged as a woman. She was slender and petite - couldn’t have been more than five feet and a few inches - but curvy in all the right places. Her blonde hair, thick and silky, was pulled back into her usual ponytail that showed off her model pretty face with hazel eyes, fair skin, and lots of freckles. Her lips were full and naturally red, the kind of lips that were impossible to notice without wanting to kiss.

Dream’s chest was smaller, not that it mattered, but she more than made up for it with what had to be the most perfect, round ass I’d seen in my life. More than a few times I’d had to chasten myself for having highly unacceptable thoughts about what that ripe, round ass would look like bouncing on my cock, moans pouring from those lips as I drilled her hard from behind, my hands cupping her no doubt perfectly shaped tits.

I hated those thoughts, as much as I secretly loved them. After all, what kind of a way was that to think about someone you thought of as a little sister?

Even the thought of it then was enough to stiffen my cock. Dream was dressed in a tight little black skirt that showed off her luscious legs and a cropped green blouse that gave a hint of her flat middle.

Not one of us said a word as we all clapped eyes on her hard.

Dream seemed lost in the bar, her petite figure slipping through the crowd as she tried to find someone. An expression of slight worry painted her features. But the worry vanished the moment she laid eyes on us. A huge, beaming smile spread across her face and she let out a happy squeal that cut through the din of the crowded bar. Before my brothers or I had a chance to react, she was already running over with her arms stretched out, her nipples poking through the thin fabric of her shirt.

“Oh my God!” she rushed over to the table and made a beeline for me – likely because I was the closest to her. She threw her arms around me, squeezing me as hard as she could.

Damn, did it feel good to have that tight little body against mine. It made my mind race with all sorts of things I wanted to do with her.

“Well, well,” I said, a genuine smile spreading across my face. “If it isn’t our long-lost step-sis.” I stuck my tongue out at her, letting her know I was teasing her.

“And if it isn’t my three-strapping step-bros,” she proclaimed, playfully rolling her eyes and putting her hands on the curves of her hips and looking us all up and down. “That just sounds so weird, even in jest.”

“Yeah, good thing our parents were together after we already grew up,” Evan said. He put his foot on the stool across from him and pushed it out. “But first, where the hell is my hug?”

He sprang up and headed over to her with his usual friendly smile on his face. They hugged, and when it was done, she turned her attention to Jay.

“Now, I know PDAs have never been your thing…”

A wry smirk formed on Jay’s lips.

“I think I can make an exception for you,” he said. Jay rose and Dream quickly wrapped him up in a big hug. I gestured to one of the bartenders and raised the empty pitcher, sticking out two fingers with my free hand. A few seconds later the bartender was setting two pitchers of some local lager on the table along with Dream’s glass.

“Oh my God,” she said, her eyes jumping from one of us to the other to the other. “You have no idea how glad I am to see you guys. I mean, I was looking forward to seeing you all anyway, but this is perfect timing.”

I was confused, and judging by the looks on the other guys, they felt the same way.

“How do you mean?” I asked as I picked up her glass and prepared to pour. I didn’t get a chance. She quickly plucked the glass from my hands with her slender fingers and poured her drink herself.

“Bossy as ever,” Jay said with a grin as she poured.

“I prefer the term strong-willed,” she said with a wink in Jay’s direction. “And what I mean is that I showed up here with Clarissa. You guys remember her, right?”

“How could we not?” Evan asked. “You guys were attached at the hip all through high school. And she dated about half our mutual friends.”

She hadn’t dated any of us. Clarissa had shown interest, of course, but the three of us had all known better than to get involved with Dream’s best friend.

“Well, she’s still up to her old tricks. We came to the bar tonight and within, like, ten minutes, she’d already picked out a guy and made her move. She told me that it was my turn, and that I’d have better luck if she wasn’t attached to my side...so yeah, here I am.”.”

That’s right – she’d broken up with Adam. I didn’t want to say anything. No doubt that was all still raw.

“She’s got a point,” Jay agreed. “You want to get back in the dating world, you're going to have to put yourself out there.”

“Right,” Evan chimed in with a smile. “And you know what they say – the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else.” He grinned, as if he were pleased as hell with his words. Then his expression went sour. “Wait, that’s kind of a crude thing to say to someone you used to think of as a little sister.”

Dream chuckled. “Not really. Not like I hadn’t heard it from Clarissa already anyway, and besides, we’re all adults here. I’m no longer that gangly kid you had to scare the boys away from. And it’s not like our parents are still married, so we aren’t actually related or anything.” She bit her lower lip and batted her eyelashes, almost leading me to believe her little speech was to send us a message - that we could think of her like a grown woman, a woman that was available to us. Or maybe it was wishful thinking.”

Evan reached forward and gave her hand a squeeze. “Just because our parents aren’t together doesn’t mean we don’t sometimes feel protective over you. We’ve got a bond between us that’s not going anywhere.”

I shared the sentiment, of course. My eyes went down to Evan’s hand on top of Dream’s. A tinge of something ran through me. It took me a second, but I quickly realized what it was.

Envy. I wished that was my hand on Dream’s.
