Have you ever heard the saying ‘the calm before the storm’? The last few weeks, everything has been perfect. I’ve never had that feeling before, and as much as I tried to convince myself Cyrus was just a business deal, she wasn’t. She is much more, and every time she is around, I feel less angry with the world. My father didn’t have much to say when I told him, as long as I didn’t mess up his deal, he was okay with it, and that is always what he is like as long as business comes first. My mum went crazy the first time she met Cyrus. My uncle is still dirty and up to something. I will just have to wait and see. And Sax has made it his mission to get her to go on a date with him.

“Hey,” Cyrus says, wrapping her arms around my neck, and standing on her tippy toes.

“Hey yourself.” I reply, kissing her deeply. I have never been one for PDA, but I can’t keep my hands to myself with her, I stake my claim every chance I get.

“Do you have your suit for the dance tomorrow?” Luna interrupts, and we all take our seats at our lunch table. Wilder sits next to Luna, instead of two legs forward, he straddles the bench seat, one leg on one side and one on the other facing his girl. I have to admit, she really isn’t as bad as I first thought–Cyrus is making me soft.

“Why do we have to go to the stupid dance again?” Wilder whines. “We never go to these lame ass events, we have our own party, one that is a lot more fun.”

“Because my woman wants to dance, and if I’m going, so is everyone else.” I state, the one perk of being on top is they all have to follow my lead.

“Ugh.” Wilder complains, running a hand through his hair. The kid loves to party, his issue is that we are going because of Cyrus. I don’t know why he dislikes her so much.

“Do we have a problem?” I snap.

“Nope, it’s all apples,” he replies.

“Well, I don’t know about you losers, but I, for one, will rock these eighties suits.” Drixx says, taking his seat. The table is full within minutes, even Kelby has been sitting with us again. She is far from happy about Cyrus and I, but I have made it clear every time she tries something that there has never been anything between us. If she wants my friendship that is fine, if not, she can eat a bag of dicks.

“Have you asked Asia to the dance yet?” Cyrus asks Draven. I stare down at him, why has he been talking to Cyrus? She’s my girl, not theirs. If they have problems, they can go find their own girl.

“No, just drop it.” His tone not impressing me, Cyrus squeezes my leg under the table, so close to my groin, my cock stands to attention. The little minx knows how to keep me in my seat. I grab her hand, sliding it up further. If she wants to tease me, then she better do it right. She moves her thumb up and down my length while continuing her conversation with Draven.

“Stop being a pussy. You all act like big tough guys, and yet a little girl scares you.” She states, and her authority over him turns me on. Her thumb is still stroking me.

“I’m not a fucking pussy, she just isn’t interested,” he says, looking down at his food.

“What did you do? How did you mess it up this fast?” She asks, pointing her fork in his direction.

“Me?” He questions, running his hand through his hair. Cyrus nods. “It’s not my fault, I don’t speak nerd.”

“I change my mind, she deserves better than you. I hope you get blue balls.” Draven’s head snaps up to look at her, he wants to lash out, I can see it in his eyes, but he knows better. I made it clear Cyrus is not to see us be dicks, to her we are all decent human beings. We are all reformed bad boys in her eyes.

None of them are impressed, but that’s why we have the fights on Friday nights, and I make sure Lux keeps her away. I don’t need formalities ruining what we have. I’m still on top, I never doubted I would be. I’m surprised though Rebel is up on Wilder. Wilder may need to start preparing to lose Luna for good, because if Rebel takes him out, she’s his if he wants her. There is so much she doesn’t even know about herself, she’s the reason Wilder was accepted, and there is no way she would have come without him.

“What! Unlike D, who will cum in his pants if you keep stroking his dick like that.” Cyrus’ face goes bright red, and I lean across the table, taking Kelby’s iced coffee and peg it at Draven. It hits his right shoulder and bounces off the table beside ours before hitting the ground, making a big mess just as the bell goes.

“Clean that shit up before you leave.” I order, leaving no room to argue. Everyone starts to leave, but Cyrus looks at me and then at Draven. “Don’t look at me like that, I didn’t punch him.”

“Let’s just go to class and get this day over with.” She says as I throw my arm over her shoulder, and we walk to class. The teacher already has the whiteboard filled with shit we need to copy down before we’ve even taken our seats. Why they can’t type it and email it to us is crazy, they would save themselves so much time.

“Mr. Briar, the guidance officer would like to see you,” Mr. Meric says before I get a chance to sit down.

“I’ll be back.” I tell Cyrus, she nods and takes her seat next to Cuyler. Damn Olivia, this chick just can’t get the message. She had a thing for my uncle when they attended Briar university together, and I may or may not have fucked her a few times last year when it looked like they may have been working things out.

Walking down the empty corridors, I bump into my uncle, what a coincidence.

“Shouldn’t you be in class?” He spits. This guy is more fucked in the head than I am. All the crap he spouts about not being my enemy, and the next minute, he has a stick wedged up his ass. I think he needs to go on some medication to fix his mood swings.

“Nope, Olivia would like to see me, and you know what she likes to see of me.” I taunt, grabbing my cock through my pants.

“Does Cyrus know about your little affair?”

“That I was seduced by a person of power who should have had my best interests at heart? Of course not, and you won’t tell her either."

“Teacher fantasies are something you both have in common then.” He winks and walks away. My first instinct is to chase the bastard and knock his teeth down his throat, but that’s what he wants.

Just as I’m about to walk into Olivia’s office, my phone buzzes in my pocket. Slipping it out, I see Cyrus’s name light up the screen, and a picture of her cleavage stares back at me. I adjust myself just as Olivia opens her office door. I walk in, and she shuts the door behind me. I flop down into the leather couch and type out a message.
