Istill couldn’t believe I introduced Grayson as my boyfriend to Bill and I couldn’t believe he was nice enough to come to this hospital fundraiser with me to continue the charade.

He picked me up the night of the fundraiser with an Uber. In Notting Hill, there was enough public transportation and things within walking distance, most people didn’t have a car.

He arrived wearing a tux and looked amazing. He was wearing his glasses and his hair was slicked back. He looked handsome as fuck and part of me wanted to jump in right there and tell him to forget about going to the stupid fundraiser. But I didn't.

I had on a red dress I had brought with me from Wisconsin but hadn't had occasion to wear yet. Red was my favorite color, which was fitting since I was from the Badger State. It was a knee length dress and strapless, cut rather low, showing up the girls nicely but not too provocative. It was my favorite dress.

When I came to the door, Grayson's eyes widened. “Wow Vanessa, You look amazing. I’m one lucky guy to have you on my arm tonight.”

“You're too nice.” I was constantly amazed by his kindness.

“I'm not lying. Everyone's going to have their eyes on you tonight. Your ex is going to beg you to take him back.”

I snorted. “Doubtful. Plus, it doesn't matter. I have vowed to never date a doctor ever, ever again or anyone from the hospital, for that matter.”

He grinned. “So I have a chance then.”

I laughed.

“What?”

“Well, you were my boyfriend.”

“That I am,” he replied enthusiastically. “Let's go, my Lady.” He hooked his arm and offered me his blow. I slipped my arm around it and we headed down to the Uber. He opened the door for me. We sat close together, our thighs almost touching.

I was incredibly attracted to Grayson. The sexual tension between us tonight was thick. Maybe we could be more than fake girlfriend - boyfriend. But was he open to the idea? He had mentioned how his longtime girlfriend dumped him and he didn't really trust anyone so maybe he's just being a nice guy and helping me out.

We arrived at the fundraiser and Grayson immediately charmed everyone. Being my best friend, Carla knew that he wasn’t my boyfriend, but she sure liked to play it up, especially when Bill was around. Carla and Grayson got along famously, and were constantly giving me a hard time.

The champagne was flowing, and I really had a lot of fun. They had a dance floor, and Grayson had quite the moves. Everybody loved him and told me all night how lucky I was to have him as my boyfriend. I would just smile and nod because I was lucky. Lucky that he was there with me that night.

By the end of the night, I was feeling a little bit tipsy. Grayson and I had been slow dancing maybe closer than two people who were pretending to be boyfriend and girlfriend should be. It felt good in his arms though - like I belonged there.

When the party ended, he ordered an Uber to take us back to my place. When we got there, he helped me out of the car, and I paused. “Would you like to come upstairs?”

He looked at me and his eyes were dark. He glanced up and down, checking me out from head to toe. “Vanessa, if I come up there I'm not sure what's going to happen.”

I licked my lips. “I think I know.”

I grabbed his hand and led him up the stairs to my place. I unlocked the door and all but dragged him inside. When we got to the elevator, I pressed the button and the door opened right away. We went inside and as soon as the door closed, he had me pushed up against the wall.

His hand cupped my face. “You look so sexy tonight, Vaness. Everyone was watching you and I couldn’t believe you were there with me.” He leaned down and kissed me, his lips roaming mine while his tongue danced in my mouth. It was a deep kiss, full of passion and promise of what was to come when we finally got to my apartment.

The elevator dinged again, warning us the doors were about to open. He tore his lips from mine, our chests both heaving as we tried to catch our breath. “Is this your floor?”

I caught my bottom lip between my teeth and nodded. I wasn’t speechless often, but that kiss made me blank out, thinking about nothing but the way his lips felt on mine. Grayson was the kindest man I’d met, but he seemed very take charge in the elevator and that was a huge turn on. My panties were soaked.

“Lead the way.” He winked at me and we exited the elevator, headed towards my place.

GRAYSON

Ilaced my fingers with hers while he led me to the elevator. My heart was pounding faster now and I was pretty sure she could hear it. My hand was sweaty and clammy, but she still hung on, refusing to let go.

We walked inside and she led me toward the bedroom. Evidently she wasn’t in the mood to mess around. I let go of her hand and loosened my bow tie, unbuttoning the top button of my dress shirt. I shrugged out of my jacket and turned to sit on the edge of the bed.

“Vanessa.” My voice was low, husky and thick with desire. My cock began to pulse between my legs and I slowly licked my lips.
