I nod. “Yeah.”

“Cool. I’m not crazy. Where are we going?”

“Office…? Can you call your dad and mine?”

He nods.

“Asura, I have to find…” Ledger starts.

Twisting, I look up at him. “Go get your reaper and warn him. He knows what to do and you can help him.”

His opens his mouth and then closes it. “Asura…”

I roll my eyes, reaching up and pulling his chin down to me. I place a kiss right on his lips, but it’s brief. “Let’s meet in the SR 101 class. It has no windows, okay?”

His crimson eyes scan my face. Right now, they look more blood orange and less red and angry. “I’m calling Hazen to come to you.”

I nod. “Thank you.” I almost feel bad that I didn’t think about calling him. My mind has been on warning everyone. Maybe Inarian is right.

I’m not meant to be a reaper.

My hand cups Ledger’s cheek and I can’t help but to be worried about him, but I have no doubt that he will be okay. He is capable of handling himself and with Khazon, he will be even better. I watch him leave before I turn to the dean’s office.
