Inarian rolls his eyes. He really hates me. He doesn’t want to stay with us. I don’t blame them.I’m the snobby heir that doesn’t take anything serious.

“Or… I can pay for room until the academy opens back up. A room where you don’t have to cuddle on one bed.”

“I can’t sit on the bed,” Jigsaw huffs.

Fuck.

“Then you and Hazen can stay with me, and I’ll pay for Inarian to stay here.”

Inarian lets out a defeated sigh. “No. They are overcharging academy kids and… the bed is small.”

It’s silent, and I glance at Ledger, hoping to get some type of reassurance. He meets my eyes and nods slightly. They hate each other, I know, but Ledger is too nice to let someone stay in a shitty hotel or to let me waste my money.

“What about your dad?” Hazen asks, sitting beside Inarian.

“What about him?” My brows pull together, and I cross my arms over my chest.

“Will he be okay with a bunch of random guys in the house?”

My eyes roll. “My dad’s not an asshole, like you might think he is.”

“Call him and tell him that three random guys are staying with you,” Inarian dares.

I smirk, dialing my dad’s number.

He picks up instantly. “Diaboli. Whose ass am I kicking?”

“No one’s, Dad.” I chuckle. “I have a question.”

“Okay. Shoot.”

I lock eyes with Inarian. “How do you feel about three new powerful hellhounds staying in our house until the academy opens?”

“Oh! Are they your little boyfriends? Do I know them? Do you know if they like pie? I have a perfect new baking pan for this. Oh, can you—”

“Dad. Calm down. Is that a yes?”

“Yes,” he says in a semi-serious tone. I can hear the struggle not to ask so many questions.

“So, you just trust any random man in our house?” I say in a mocking tone.

My father chuckles. “Where is this coming from, diaboli? Men would be stupid to fuck with us.”

I smirk. “Thanks, Dad. Did you need something from the store for your pies?”

“No, I’ll send a guard.”

“Okay, we are coming back soon. Thanks.”

“Love you, diaboli.”

“You, too,” I say, hanging up. “So, gather your shit and let’s go. I don’t want to be out here much longer.”

Inarian growls and rolls his eyes. “Fine. You’re lucky I have no one else.”

“No friends? Mhm… shocker, Inari.”

Ledger chuckles.
