“No! No!”

Another flash assaulted my senses, this time I was on all fours, ass in the air. The sting of a paddle made me cry out as a blinking red light signaled that I was being watched. A tongue lapped at my core while another man bit my neck, my body a playground for them to do whatever they wanted. In the center stood Dominic, naked and hard as he watched, stroking his cock. My body lit up at pleasing my Master.

I screamed, as yet another flash had me speaking with a young girl with golden blonde hair.

“I don’t want to be here. This doesn’t feel right,” she whined.

“Everything will be fine, Celina. But we have to go through these tasks to be accepted into Wonderland. Here,” I handed her a small blue mushroom. “Take this, it will help you relax. You’re too tense and your new master is waiting.”

“I don’t know, Alice.”

I stared blankly at her distressed features, knowing this was something all the girls went through when they first started. This was Celina’s first encounter, her first experience in Wonderland. All I could do was hold her hand and wait. Some girls returned to me and others would find their true masters and leave. It was the way things were run; our control nonexistent.

“I’ll be right here,” I reassured her as I took the mushroom from her fingers and placed it close to her lips. She closed her eyes as her tongue received it and within seconds, she was walking into one of the rooms. She’d be prepared for the standards her new master demanded. If he enjoyed her, I’d never see her again, but she didn’t need to know that, and I didn’t need to know who he was either.

As she entered the red room, there was a man in the rear by the exit. His back was turned so I couldn’t make out his features. My eyes fell on the red card on the table, and the crimson glint of a sharp metallic object as the door swung shut. Glimpses of who these men were, that was all I ever managed to see . . .

I was torn away from the memory as another voice cut through the quick succession of startling images.

“Alice. Alice can you hear me?”

A soft whispered voice snagged my attention along with the gentle touch that accompanied it. A familiar pressure warmed my cool, trembling fingers. I stared down at my hands as the memory slowly dissipated and left me stranded in the padded bedroom I’d currently been living in since my arrival.

“Alice, come back to me. Follow my voice, let it guide you back to the present.”

“The good doctor seems to know exactly what you need, Alice. Maybe you should listen to him this once.” Dominic’s voice cut through and I flinched.

“Wake up, Alice! Get out of her head!”

Zachary’s voice confused me, and I raised my hands to cover my ears, screaming with the fatigue, horror, and vicious knowledge of the truth and all the horrible memories.

“Stop!”

Dominic’s voice echoed around us. “Either come back willingly or face the consequences. Your little doctor will also pay for what he’s done so don’t think he can protect you anymore.”

My eyes lifted and there he was with those familiar green eyes, his permanently apprehensive frown so evident on his weathered face. Zachary was kneeling before me, his hands holding mine, the chains linking my wrists together.

His focus was solely on my wellbeing. “Alice?”

“Why did you leave me, Alice?” Dominic’s voice overlapped Zachary’s and I looked around wildly, the speaker above our head signaling where the voice was originating from.

I started shaking, grabbing onto Zachary’s hands in pure terror. “What’s happening?”

“He came to pay you a visit.”

“The Cat,” I whispered.

Zachary brushed a strand of hair from my cheek and nodded. “The Cat,” he confirmed.

“Do. Not. Touch. Her.”

Zachary stood, circling the room as his fists lifted into the air. “You had no right!”

“I have every right, or did you forget that every soul who comes into Wonderland belongs to the Queen and to me.” His cynical chuckle reverberated through the halls.

“I never left,” I whispered starting to rock back and forth. “The blood. It was real.”

“Yes, Alice,” Zachary confirmed. “It’s all real.”
