Page 118 of Desiring Them

“Thank you,” I whispered.

He leaned over and nibbled my earlobe, sending goose bumps down my body. “You’re welcome, strawberry.”

Then it was on to my last gift. It was much more square in shape but somehow bulkier as well. I removed the wrapping and was left with an expensive-looking silk box.

Before I could open it, Ruben wrapped his hand around mine and the box and turned me toward him. He repositioned himself so he was on one knee. He looked at me as if I were the most precious jewel on earth.

My mouth went dry.

“Sienna-Belle, I love you. We all love you, but sorry folks, I was first.”

The others chuckled.

“I know what we have with the group is a little complicated, but between you and me, things have always been simple, easy, and fun. We have each other’s backs, no matter what. I want that to keep happening. If it’s at all possible, I want us all, Jeremy, Riva, Cruz, and Augustus, if he comes around, to have a happy and long life together. Jeremy, Cruz, and I had a chat. You’re not a UK citizen or permanent resident. In a few months, you could try to extend your visa or marry me, and that way, you could get to stay with all of us here in England.”

I hadn’t actively thought too far into the future. I knew I was only on a work visa, but that wasn’t indefinite. I could always apply to extend it, sure, but only if things worked out with Estate Styles, and right now, I wasn’t sure they would. The thought of being separated from anyone I loved tore at my heart.

I shook my head slightly in confusion. “But your job is back in Wayborough Shores.”

Ruben chuckled. “Well, actually, I’ve hit up Tate for a transfer. Because while we’ve been apart, not only have I been working at Rawlins Industries, but I’ve also been doing makeup courses and applying for universities all over.”

“You what?”

Ruben puffed out his chest. “You’re looking at one of Oxford University’s newest material sciences students with a sponsorship and recommendation from RI.”

I punched his shoulder. “You kept all this from me?”

“Yep.” His grin was adorable yet infuriating.

“I love you,” I mumbled as I pulled on his shirt and kissed him.

“Is that a yes?” Ruben asked through the kiss.

“Mm-hmm,” I muttered as I straddled his lap.

“Mmm.” Ruben’s free hand ran down my body to the hem of the T-shirt. I felt him slip beneath and squeeze my bare ass.

“Ahh, Ruben?” Jeremy spoke up. “You may want to put the ring on first, mate.”

Ruben instantly broke off our smooching and laughed with Jeremy. “Good idea.” His eyes never left mine while he took the white gold ring from its box and slid it onto my wedding ring finger.

I studied the design with curiosity. “There’s that symbol again.”

Jeremy chuckled. “Do you think we should tell her what it means, mate?”

“Yeah, go on.” Ruben nodded at him.

“It’s the polyamory symbol, sugar. It means that even though you’re legally marrying only one of us, you’re entering into a lifelong promise to us all.”

“If you’ll have us,” Riva added.

“I have you.” I winked.

Cruz swiped at my ass.

“You, too, rock star.” I winked at him.

I returned to our waiting meal and devoured Jeremy’s incredible cooking while I held my hand out for Riva to inspect the ring.
