“Sienna.”My mouth fell open at Augustus’ admission.“And myself, of course. The clothing is top-notch, don’t get me wrong, but I make it look good, and Sienna makes it more accessible.”

I flared up instantly. “Ialsomake it look good, FYI. Lord Huntington appeals to the arrogant upper class, I am much more inclusive of all kinds of people.”

“I’m inclusive,” Augustus said as he reeled back.

I snorted with disdain. “Perhaps when people have their clothesoff, you are.”

“Well, within reason,” he mumbled.

Major sniggered into his fist. “Have you two?”

“No,” I lied, my response too short and sharp to be believable.

“There’s honestly nothing to tell in that area, Major.”

The guys both sniggered.

What a sarcastic asshole.

I launched myself to my feet. “I’ll have you know that I am gorgeous naked, and I am the kind of lover most guys could only dream of.” I collected my things with the intent of storming out of the interview.

Augustus cleared his throat. “Aren’t you forgetting something?”

Gritting my teeth, I stopped in my tracks.

“You have a professional obligation to Estate Styles and meto be present at interviews.”

I folded my arms tight across my chest, slowly turning specifically to glare at him. I was annoyed at how correct he was right now. “Fine. Do the interview. With Augustus, not me.”

“But the magazine wants—”

“I don’t care what the magazine wants.” I flicked my fingers toward them and leaned against the wall by a window overlooking the busy Soho street below.

Major puffed up his cheeks, then blew his breath out forcefully. “Right then. I guess it’s just you and myself, my lord.”

“I suppose so.”

I did my best to ignore the side-eye I copped from Augustus as Major continued with the interview.

My attempt to make a fast escape from Soho failed before it even started. With theGet Gossinterview over, I was determined to get back to planning my part of the gala, and I had other potential musicians to approach for the event. The fact that one of the bands was managed by a man I’d kind of, in a roundabout way, slept with last night didn’t slip from my mind. Neither did the fact that I wanted to play with him and Riva again sometime.

I didn’t even know if they were a couple or a random hookup.I also didn’t know what I would tell Ruben or Augustus. This was the real reason for my irritability, but Augustus didn’t have to know that right now.

Having him grab my wrist and launch himself into my face was painful. “What the hell was that up there? I’ve never seen you in such a mood, Sienna. What’s your problem?”

I scoffed. “What’smyproblem?”There’s honestly nothing to tell in that area, Major?“How fucking dare you.”

“I was keeping him off the scent. You said you don’t want a scandal, so I’m helping you by pretending I’m not at all interested in you.”

I yanked my arm away from him. “Are you kidding me? You couldn’t have been more obvious.”

“Neither could you.”

“Excuse me?”

“You answered him a little too quickly when he hinted at our potential connection. You got bitchy straight away, and now you’re throwing a tantrum like a little girl who missed out on the best Barbie Doll at a toy sale.” Augustus pulled his raised voice back under control and whispered, “Your professionalism is slipping, Sienna, and it’s noticeable.”

I steadied my breathing and attempted to regain control of my emotions. “I’m sorry, I…”
