Page 70 of Desiring Them

I stepped close to him, but instead of stepping into the building, I pressed up against him. “Thank you,” I said, my breath heavy, and still, I didn’t move.

Jeremy lowered his face down toward mine. “Are you attempting to seduce me, sugar?”

“No. I’m thanking you.” I was sure he could see right through my white lie.

I felt his fingers play with my hair and his lips lingered over mine for a few moments. “Well, if you’re going to tease me…”

I set a foot inside the door, but Jeremy caught me by the arm and pressed a firm kiss to my lips. His hands cupped my face, and he eased up on the kiss, allowing room for me to respond. I ran my hand up his broad chest to rest on his thick, corded neck. My other arm curled around his shoulder as I opened my mouth to his eager tongue. I moaned into his mouth as his tongue dominated mine. He spun me into the building, pressing my body against the wall, and his hands wandered over my breasts, down my ribs to my ass. I felt his hardness pressing into my belly from behind his jeans, and I wanted him inside me so bad, I felt myself getting wet.

“Jeremy,” I murmured.

“I want you to know what it feels like to have me inside you,” he mumbled against my lips.

“Yes.”

Jeremy broke the kiss. “We’ll go and get Ruben.” He took me by the hand and led me up the narrow stairs to the first floor.

I stopped dead in my tracks when I spotted Augustus and Ruben chatting in the doorway to my apartment.

Augustus quickly noticed our arrival and smirked at us. “Look who it is.” He winked at me, then nodded at Jeremy. “Hello, cousin.”

I looked between the two men. “You two are cousins?”

“You wouldn’t think someone of my ilk would live in such a place, would you?” Augustus glanced around the small terrace apartment building and shuddered.

Jeremy jabbed a finger in his direction. “Oi, I’m not of your ilk, mate, you know that.”

“Just because your mother decided to divorce my uncle and raise you like a commoner doesn’t mean you’re not one of us.” Augustus straightened his jacket.

“Hey, I’m a commoner, and so is Ruben. What’s wrong with that?” I demanded.

“Nothing at all, my love. Except you live in such small places.” He glanced around in disgust again.

“It’s London,” Ruben said. “You don’t exactly get much bang for your buck here.”

“You have a point there.” Augustus winked at Ruben, who then blushed.

I studied my boyfriend and noticed his hands were tucked behind his back. I saw the bashful look on his face and realized he was indeed developing a crush on Augustus. When he noticed me watching, he sent me a subtle nod, and I had to stop myself from breaking out in a stupid ass grin.

“To be continued, sugar.” Jeremy planted a kiss on my cheek.

My heart sank. I was so turned on, it was criminal to leave me like this.

“Hey,” Augustus called before Jeremy could close his door. “When’s the band’s next gig?”

“Saturday at the Electric Carousel.”

“Want to come around to my place for a get-together on Thursday?”

Jeremy smirked. “Sounds like fun. Mind if I bring a plus three?”

Augustus smiled like a Cheshire cat. “‘Atta boy. What do you think, Ruben? You in?”

Ruben nodded as he straightened his gray hoodie. “I’m in. By the way, for the record, I’m totally okay with Sienna and you guys together when I’m not here, as long as you look after her. You got it?”

I loved it when Ruben pulled out his tough side. It was a side he tended to reserve for matters relating to my well-being, and it made me feel quite special and so incredibly loved.

“Absolutely, mate.” Jeremy nodded.
