“I was on the pill,” she promised. “I wanted to wait, but I guess this baby didn’t.” She swiped at the hot tears that fell down her cheeks. The last thing she wanted to do was cry about this while telling them, but her damn hormones were completely out of whack.

“Honey,” Declan soothed. “Don’t cry. I for one am excited as hell that you’re pregnant.”

Tanner took her hand into his and nodded. “Me too,” he said. “I’m sorry that I asked so many questions and upset you, but you caught me off guard.”

“Really?” she sobbed.

“Absolutely,” he said. “When are we due?” he asked.

“About six months, but I haven’t been to the doctor yet. I made my first appointment for next Tuesday. I was hoping that you’d both want to go with me.”

“Yes,” they both said in unison.

“We wouldn’t miss it for the world,” Declan promised. He laid back and pulled her down with him, Tanner quickly following them both over.

“So, you’re both really okay with this? A baby is a big change and well, we’re still in the honeymoon phase,” she said.

Tanner cupped her jaw and gently kissed her lips. “You’ve made us both the happiest men on the planet,” he said. “A baby is just another piece of you that we get to love, honey.”

Declan kissed her once Tanner was done with her and nodded, “He’s right, Shelby. We love you so damn much, you’re just giving us another piece of you to love. We’re the luckiest guys on the planet.”

She was sure that she was the lucky one. Shelby had found her clean sweep—the two men who’d forever hold her heart and now, they were going to be a family. A girl couldn’t ask for anything more than everything and that was exactly what the two of them had given her—everything.

The End
