Actually, all three of them could.

It should be illegal for that kind of genetic blessing in one family.

Cash still held her hand and it tightened when he looked at his sons, and that’s when she noticed he matched them. His suit didn’t fit quite as well as theirs, but when they took pictures later, he’d look like part of the bridal party.

Everything looked like it was about to start when Austin and Jackson both casually jogged back up the aisle. The three-piece orchestra began to play music and when Savannah turned, she saw Grace heading down the aisle with her sons on either side of her. She was smiling and looked so genuinely happy. Carefully, Savannah snuck a glance at Cash and saw tears in his eyes and knew she needed to say something.

Leaning close, she whispered, “I’m glad you didn’t miss this.”

He nodded. “Me too, Savi. Me too.”

Savannah quickly moved to his other side so when Grace joined them, they would be seated side by side as parents of the groom—the way it should be. This was totally a day for families.

Grace sat down with a smile, and Austin and Jackson took their place back beside Garrett. The pastor asked them all to rise as Emma began her walk down the aisle with her parents, and it hit Savannah harder than she could have imagined.

She’d never have that.

Not that it mattered.

It wasn’t like she was ever planning on getting married anyway.

The sun was settingand the party was winding down, but Jackson was enjoying a slow dance with Savannah. There had been a lot of time over the course of the day where she had been on her own and he hated it for her because he knew if she were given the chance, she’d leave.

But she hadn’t left and they were slowly swaying to the music under a gorgeous sunset.

“I saw you helping Peyton with the desserts earlier,” he said softly, relishing the feel of her in his arms. “Did you get to taste the cupcakes?”

“Oh my goodness, yes! She told me the local bakery made them and how they’re sort of legendary.”

“Oh, yeah. Henderson’s Bakery is definitely that. It’s in the top three things I missed while I was deployed.”

“The top three?” she asked in disbelief. “Seriously? A bakery?”

“Definitely. I missed my mom, my brothers, and Henderson’s. And not necessarily in that order.”

She laughed and it seemed like the first genuine one of the day. “That’s insane.”

“Clearly you need to try more of Mrs. Henderson’s stuff. I can guarantee that once you do, you’ll totally get it.”

Smiling, she shook her head. “You’re crazy.”

Slowly, he pulled her tighter against him. “That I am,” he murmured. “About you.”

“Jackson…”

He silenced her with a kiss—a soft one that soothed—and he felt her melt against him. Garrett and Emma had left a little while ago for a mini honeymoon down in Myrtle Beach and the rest of the guests were slowly starting to head out as well.

Lifting his head, Jackson looked around and thought maybe they could do the same.

“I’ll tell you what, I snagged a small box of cupcakes for us—mainly because I’m one of Mrs. H’s favorites—along with a bottle of champagne. How about we make our rounds and say goodnight and head back to my place?”

“Oh, um…I don’t know. It’s been a long day and I don’t think Cash should be alone.”

Damn. He hadn’t thought of that.

The song ended and they pulled apart to clap before he took Savannah’s hand and led her off the dancefloor. His father was sitting at a table with Aunt Susannah, Colton, Aunt Georgia, and Uncle Beau, and he figured they’d go over and see if he was ready to leave.
