Ohmygod, thiscan't be happening. I came to the club tonight with Ashton and the guys to have one last night out together before Bryce and Aiden take off for Florida on Monday. The next thing I know, August is punching Aiden in the face on the dance floor. And now here I am in a closet, clawing at his back as he shoves his tongue down my throat.

The man kisses like a god. When I'm with him, he completely consumes me. Nothing else matters and all rationale goes out the window. Every time he looks at me with those hungry eyes like he literally might die if he doesn't touch me, I go weak in the knees. It doesn't matter how much I hate him or how wrong we are for each other. I can't resist him. He brings out the free spirit, uninhibited risk taker I long to be.

His hand grips my ass, and when he does half of it grabs my bare cheek due to my skirt being so short. He groans into my mouth with pleasure from the feel of my nakedness in his hand. I feel his hard cock against my stomach, and I slowly reach down between us to stroke him over his pants. Breaking our kiss he pulls back and hisses before removing my hand. I'm immediately embarrassed, and I'm sure my cheeks are flushed, showcasing my humiliation. Why am I even letting him touch me right now? As of yesterday, I was a mistake. And apparently, I'm still a mistake he can't stop making. He promptly grabs my chin and tilts it up so that I'm looking at him.

"Don't do that baby, don't be embarrassed, and don't hide from me. We're not doing this here." Leaning down, he places a kiss on my temple before taking my hand and pulling me out of the closet.

We're heading towards the exit when Bryce spots me and says, "Hey Gigi, wait up."

I stop and look over my shoulder to see Bryce making his way over to us with something in his hand. August tightens his grip on my hand while possessively pulling me to his side. Once he's finally made it over to me, he notices my new accessory and frowns.

"Is this the fucker that punched Aiden?"

Bryce isn't a petite guy, but I'm surprised that he's taking that tone in front of August because I'm sure August could kick his ass.

Before I can respond, August is asking, "Is there a problem?" Bryce scoffs, "No man, there's no problem, but I think your girlfriend is looking for you, and you kind of fucked up our plans. So, if you don't mind, I'm just going to take Gigi, and we'll be on our way."

I screech out, "Girlfriend" before whipping around and searching his eyes for truth, hoping this is a misunderstanding. August holds my gaze but doesn't give me anything. Bryce steps forward to take my hand, but August blocks him and says, "I wouldn't do that if I were you." However, Bryce doesn't back down.

"Why don't you let her decide who she wants to go with. Her lifelong friends or some lying d-bag?"

I'm looking at August, waiting for him to deny Bryce's claim, but he doesn't. Instead, he simply sets his jaw and glares at me. I can see that his breaths are more erratic, like he's struggling to contain his temper. I want to question him, but there's no point. I already know the answer. Before I can even turn around to walk away, some blonde with huge boobs in tight white jeans with a red top rushes by me.

"Auggie, I was so worried. I heard some guy got punched, and then we couldn't find you."

Throwing her arms around his neck she stands on her tippy toes and places a kiss on his mouth. The mouth that was just all over mine. I feel like I can't breathe, like I might pass out. Bryce notices my face go pale, and he comes up beside me to let me lean on him.

"Gigi, we need to get you some air. I have your purse. Let's leave."

August doesn't take his eyes off me, but it doesn't matter. He's dead to me.

When we finally make it outside the cold night air on my heated skin feels like heaven. My mind is reeling. I can't believe, after everything, he has a girlfriend. We never really talked about anything in-depth, but before you actively pursue someone wouldn't you make sure you were single, especially if there's a chance the two people could meet like tonight. I mean, what the fuck?

With all the 'my girl' talk and extreme possessiveness, I never would have thought he was a cheating bastard. Why am I so upset anyway? I have Mason. Oh my god, Mason! I'm such a bitch. We still haven't technically labeled anything, but he would be heartbroken.

"Bryce, I'm so sorry I ruined you're going away party. I had no idea August would show up here. This isn't even his side of town." We start walking towards his truck when he says, "So who is that guy anyway? You've never mentioned him, not that I can blame you. He seems like a prick! Wait, wasn't he standing outside with you when I picked you up on my new bike?"

"I haven't mentioned him because he's no one worth mentioning. Last week, I met him at work, and he has continued to pursue me regardless of my objections. Then tonight, he shows up here and punches Aiden for dancing with me all the while he has a girlfriend."

I'm so mad I'm about to cry, but I'm not going to let that fucker have my tears. This is why I don't let people in. For this very reason, I have a select group of people that I keep close to me. People suck, they will tell you what you want to hear so they can get what they want, and August wanted to get laid, period. He wasn't interested in me, he was interested in my body, and I was too swept away with the idea of him to recognize what was really happening. Why would a guy like him be interested in an under-aged, lower class, hot mess like me? Oh yeah, that's right, he wouldn't be. At least I found out before things reached a point of no return.

We finally get to Bryce's truck, and I bend down to take my heels off before opening the cab door and climbing in. Bryce climbs in the other side, and I ask, "Where are the others? Should we wait up?" He shakes his head. "No, they all took off after Aiden had his nose broken. You know that was really shitty of you to just leave."

I throw my head back against the truck seat and close my eyes.

"You have no idea what I'm dealing with Bryce."

How do I tell him not only does August work with me, but he's the owner's son, and he has threatened my job? Or how about even after he threatened my job and told me I was a mistake, I still wanted him to kiss me just now. Sensing my inner turmoil, he reaches over and grabs my hand.

"Gigi, is there more you want to tell me? We can figure it out. I'll help you whatever it is."

Shaking my head, I turn to look out the window. I don't need anyone else involved in my drama. Bryce was a lifesaver when my family and I got evicted, and that was about all the embarrassment and help I could ever accept from him to last a lifetime.

Movement from the club catches my eye, and that's when I notice August has exited the club and is now searching the parking lot. He looks around, clearly frustrated before running his fingers through his hair. Suddenly his eyes find mine, and he starts making his way toward the truck.
