When they arrived, they sawAmelia running towards them with open arms. Her green eyes glistened with tears.

The two women fell into each other's arms, clutching each other as if their embrace was “Forgive me, Amelia. I caused this! I should never have made you lie,” Nora cried.

"No, I should have protected you," Amelia contended.

"I thought about you every day," Amelia said and then turned to Jonan and Callan,"Thank you a thousand times over."

Nora beamedat Jonan, her heart full of love.

“He is a good man,” Amelia whispered.

Nora gave a nod. "He is, indeed, a good man..." Nora let her sister go. “There are many things I must tell him.”

"I love you, Jonan," she said as she approached him, searching for his hand. "I am more than happy you came to rescue me... because it means you do not hate me," she said, burying her weary head against his barreled chest.

“I could never hate ye, Nora. I love ye."

“I will never lie to you again,” she vowed.

“Neither will I,” he said. Nora felt safe again as she wrapped her arms around his warm body.

"I miss home," she muttered.

“It didnae feel the same without ye,” he breathed.
