“Yeah, you see, his friends are age-players and...”

Chapter Thirteen

“Nope. No. Ugh!” Didher other self not own any decent age-play clothes? Penny stared at the heap of discarded clothing tossed onto the bed. Perhaps she had a hidden stash of age-play outfits. She cast her eyes around the room looking for a place where she would hide such things from prying eyes. There was nowhere she hadn’t already looked. Her gaze drifted back to the closet. There was the suitcase she brought with her and a smaller older case without wheels...

Bingo! Not many outfits admittedly, but the kind of clothing choices made by a little. She unfolded a nearly new sailor dress and carefully placed it down in a space on the bed. Next was a cute pair of blue dungarees with daisies embroidered on the bib worn with a matching white tee shirt decorated with scattered daisies. These outfits were obviously hardly ever worn. The red tartan skirt she picked up next confirmed her suspicion; the price tag was still attached.

Thepiece de resistance, in her opinion, was an adorable full-skirted waist dress. Navy with a little white cotton Peter Pan collar, decorated with pink and white bunnies. There was a pair of long white knee-high socks folded inside the dress. In the bottom of the case there was a pair of navy patent leather Mary Jane shoes.

Reverently she unbuttoned the pearly back and slipped the dress over her head. Preening in front of the mirror, she admitted she looked adorable. Grabbing the socks and shoes, she soon completed the outfit. It was perfect.

Next she did her nails, lacquering them pale pink, and waited for them to dry. Going to her drawer of things she’d taken from her suitcase, she removed the precious Disney princess nail stickers she’d brought back with her from the States. Carefully peeling each one, she even more carefully applied them to each nail.

Reading the admirationreflected in David’s eyes was all the confirmation Penny needed to know that she looked good.

“You look real pretty today,” he praised. “Ready to go?”

“Yes, thank you,” she said and pulled the door shut behind her.

“Does it lock automatically?” he asked.

“Yes, but I can deadlock it.”

“Give me your key, I’ll see to that.”

She handed him her keys and watched as he dead-bolted her front door.

He was dressed casually today in black jeans and a black leather jacket. She loved the fact he still wore a formal white shirt under such casual attire, the collar open at the neck, exposing a few dark chest hairs.

At the car, he held open the door and waited for her to slide into her seat. When he just sat there staring out of the front car window, she twisted to look at him.

Clearing his throat, he faced her.

“Before we leave, I just wanted you to know that I broke up with the woman I was seeing, we are no longer an item. I’m a free agent.”
