I waved for the limo driver to pull up and quickly ushered her inside. We chatted more on the ride to her apartment than we had over dinner. It was proof that Lindsay hadn’t felt comfortable at that restaurant. Hopefully Saturday, I’d see more of the bold Lindsay that I enjoyed being around.

When we pulled up in front of her building, I got out and walked her to the door. She fumbled with the keys and said, “I have no idea why I can’t find the right one.” Finally she did and the door opened. Then she turned to me and added, “Thank you, Phillip. I did have a good time.”

I didn’t believe that for an instant. With Lindsay, if I wanted to impress her, I’d have to quit flaunting my money. “There’s an Irish pub I know that has live music at night.”

“As long as it’s not karaoke.”

I laughed. “If it was, they’d throw me out.”

She leaned into me and got up on tippy-toes and kissed my cheek. “I’ll see you Saturday. Goodnight, Phillip.”

“Goodnight, Lindsay.” She closed the door and I was left standing there, wishing she’d invited me in. But I knew she’d made a wise choice. I had no idea what was going on between us, but I assured myself that whatever it was, it was nothing more than a temporary interest. In a few days, it’d wear off.

My body was telling me otherwise as I walked down the stairs with a hard cock.
