"Guys," I said, calling their attention back to me. "And Zeal?"

Wraythe shook his head. "That's not our call, Nari. You and Zeal have always been a thing, even before we were aware of it. You are his Chosen."

"You made out with him last year," Talin pointed out. "None of this is a shock to us."

"Which is very different to any of you having a problem with it," I pointed out.

Ela huffed, making it clear what he thought of that. "He's hot. We're all working to help him, which means we like the guy, Nari. He'sveryhot."

"You already said that," Anver pointed out.

"Because it needs to be mentioned a few times," Ela said. "Zeal is sexy, and if you get the chance to go there, youwillgo there. If you fall in love with him, you will tell us proudly, not be worried about it. And of course the guy loves you. What's not to love?"

"It just doesn't feel right to keep adding people to us without talking to any of you," I tried to explain. "We're a family. Anver may have gone away for a while, but he was always a part of us. It just gave us the chance to find Talin, and I don't want to ruin this. This year has started off so well, and I'm just worried that something will come along and tear us apart. I don't want it to be me."

"You're fine," Talin promised. "Let's just agree that anyone involved in that symbol we share is fair game, ok?"

"Wait," Ela said. "What about others?"

Wraythe looked at him like he'd lost his mind. "You're still on the Path of the Body, Ela. We know that."

"He means caring about others," Anver said.

"Well, sure," Ela agreed, "but also the ones that get dragged into this. Peyron, as an example. He's Savi's Chosen, which means he's kinda tied to that symbol, but I'm thinking he wouldn't count."

"Doesn't count," Talin agreed a little quickly. "I meant the five of us and Zeal."

"But what if there is someone else?" Anver asked. "What if one of us gets feelings for, say, Intuition's chosen one? Is it an automatic no? That's what those two need to know." And he pointed between me and Ela.

"It's not just us," I reminded them. "You three are also on the Path of Temptation now. Your rings don't work. Your hearts were never prohibited from feeling something. So, what happens if Anver decides he cares about someone?"

"Then we talk about it," Anver said. "I've learned my lesson. Talk first, then do. I also get that your Path means that you and Ela will sometimes do first, because of sessions. I just think that the important thing is to talk before it gets too far. If someone starts caring, then just speak up."

"And if someone doesn't like it?" Wraythe asked. "What if I'm jealous about some girl Talin's crushing on?"

"Not gonna happen," Talin said.

Wraythe grunted and lifted his hand. "No, play this out for me, Talin. What if it does? I mean, we all know it's not likely, but what if it does. How do we deal with jealousy without splitting us up like we did with Anver?"

"We talk," Talin realized, nodding his head. "Yeah. I mean, I think that's pretty much all we have, and Nari just proved how to do it. Just lay it out there and let us all work it out, voice our problems, and admit what we might need to be ok with it."

"So," Ela said, "going forward, this is our rule. We are together. All of us, right?"

"Zeal?" Anver asked.

"He's one of us," Ela agreed. "So, the six of us are a 'couple.' You know what I mean. Dating. Committed. Duties aside and all of that. If we have a session, then it's fair game. If we have feelings, we talk it out until everyone's good, and no one brings anyone else in without the approval of the others. Can we all agree to that?"

"I can," I promised. "I don't want anyone else anyway."

"You might," Wraythe said. "A lifetime's a long time to guess what might happen. I mean, I never guessed that I'd end up with the most beautiful girl in the temple, yet here I am."

I leaned over to lie against his arm. "I love you too, Wraythe."

"And Tishlie doesn't count," Talin decided. "Zeal is using her, which means Anver has to put up with her. No more judging him for that."

"Agreed," Ela said, and the rest of us nodded.

Talin just pointed at the bedroom. "Go talk to Zeal. I know you have things you need to tell him without us listening in. You're allowed to, Nari, so go let that god know that you're falling for him."
