"And that Ciella isn't gone," I said as I pushed to my feet. "I just don't want him to blame Saval, but I had a feeling that if I didn't tell all of you that he'd said he loved me, then it would get blurted out and someone would be upset."

"Not with Zeal," Wraythe promised. "Shit,Ikissed the man. I mean, I think that's proof that there's no limits when it comes to our god."

"Not the same for the other gods, though," Ela said. "Because Zeal would be jealous, and we just made a rule..." He grinned wickedly. "Which means the next god is mine!"

I rolled my eyes at him and headed for the bedroom, calling back, "Keep dreaming, Ela. Zeal's the sexiest of the lot anyway."

"Then we're sharing him," Ela called back just before I closed the door.

It made me a little less worried about all of this, which was probably why he'd done it. Not just the fact that Zeal was in love with me. Mostly, my problem was that I didn't know what was going on, and I hated this feeling. It was as if we were at the brink of something, but I had no clue what.

So, moving to sit on the edge of the bed, I pulled in a steadying breath and whispered, "Zeal, we need to talk."
