That pig…his hands on her…she’s mine!

No! She can never be mine…but I won’t ever let anyone hurt her.

I may not let myself have her, but I will be in the background from this day on, watching, protecting, I swear it!

I fall on my desk chair and my cock pulses in pain. Her fucking lips were the sweetest candy I’d ever tasted and my cock wanted to be inside of them so bad.

I needed to be inside of them…

No! I have to protect her…even from me.

The inner dialogue was driving me crazy.

I must stay strong. Stay away…for her.

I had to tame the beast raging within. My body was on fire.

I grab my keys, storm out of the building, and straight to my car.

I needed to get this out of my system if she had any chance of staying free from me.

I drive around for almost an hour, trying to drown my thoughts and desires but nothing helps. I pull into my spot under the Ravenel bridge that I sneak off to when I need complete silence and I stare at the water, even skipping a few rocks.

My heart thumps and my eyes close as I feel her lips again. I want her so fucking bad. I rack my brain trying to rationalize how us being together could work, but now that we’re working with the Compano’s, I know things are even more dangerous than before. I don’t trust them. I never have.

I jerk my phone out of my pocket knowing exactly how to remedy this pain. I dial the number and press the phone to my ear.

“Yeah…I need you to come over. I’ll have a car will pick you up.”

When I came out of the closet Jax was gone. I'm not sure if that kiss was just filled with pity or if he left because it disgusted him since I'm nowhere near as elegant as his usualfriends, it obviously didn’t do half for him of what it did to me.

Danny had to stay late for a work event today, and my shift was over the next hour so Alyssa was picking me up so we could hang out and go watch a movie. This was the first time she’ll have seen where I work and I was sure she’d have plenty to say.

I was so glad she was on her way. It was exactly what I needed to get my mind off of everything.

As soon as I see her smile pulling up in the car, I easily push down the embarrassment today offered.

“Geez girl, moving up in the world?”

“It’s alright. The people are a little snobby sometimes but the tips are good.” I had no interest in telling her about the pig from earlier. Or the kiss…

“I bet!” Her eyes bulge as she checks out the big building, now lit up by the soft glow of the evening lights.

“So have you and Danny found a place yet? Do you know where you’re staying?”

"Yeah, he said he found an apartment in West Ashley for a decent price."

"Ah, so you'll be a West Ashley girl your senior year."

“Looks like it.”

"Well, you'll have to let me know if you like it. Maybe I'll move out there with ya after I graduate,” she sends a wink my way and the thought excites me.

I'm so glad we've been able to stay friends since I left. I don't really have anyone else besides her and Danny now.
