Page 52 of Jax: Untamed

My hands wrap around his thick neck and push my lips to his. I’ll never get tired of kissing him. He’s strong but gentle, commanding but compromising. He’s everything I used to dream of.

His hands race to unbutton my jeans and I help him get them off quickly. I pull my shirt off and cling back to him. His lips go down my chest, graze over each breast and down my stomach. He yanks my panties down my leg but only gets them off one before he pushes my thighs open.

“I want to taste you.”

I bury my fingers in his beautiful black locks as his tongue swipes my slit and finds my wet folds. Two of his fingers push into my channel and my back arches. My head falls back on the couch as a whimper escapes me. My head begins to thrash from side to side from the pleasure and I crack my eyes open to watch him. I like to watch him take me.

I lift my head and something in the window behind him moves.

“Ah! What was that?”

Jax’s head lifts from my legs, “what is it?”

I scoot up on the couch and grab my shirt tossed on the cushion beside me. “Someone! Outside! I saw something!” I pull my shirt on and grab my jeans as Jax rushes to the desk reaching under it and pulling out a gun.

He yanks the chamber back cocking it and I gasp backing away.

“Stay here,” his pointer finger pushes to his lips telling me to be quiet.

“But I’m scared. I don’t want to be in here alone!” I rush out a hushed tone.

“I’ll lock the door behind me. They were outside. Believe me there’s no getting in here when it’s locked. He turns and rushes out the door as I’m begging him not to.

I’m so scared. I can’t stand the idea of something happening to him. I just got him.

Jax and two other men begin yelling outside but I can’t make it out. My hand grabs my mouth in fear as I wonder if he’s being ganged up on.

My stomach is in knots thinking of him out there alone, needing help and I can’t contain it anymore. I run to the door and try to leave and remember there are no knobs anymore.

“Shit! Shit! Shit!” I start banging on the door yelling for him. “Jax? Are you okay! Jax!” my voice squeaks in fear and I bang some more, tears pouring down my cheeks now.

I begin to call out and bang again and the door pushes open knocking me back.

“Chalene! What is it? Are you okay?”

I whimper in delight and throw my arms around his neck sobbing into him, “I thought they got you. Are you okay?”

“Shhhh,” his hand rests on my head. “No one got me. No one can get me firefly.”

“But I heard other voices,” He moves us aside and two of his guards push their way in still catching their breath as well.

“You heard Henry and Jerry. Whoever it was jumped the fence and got away. There’s no way we can see through that thick marsh in the dark.”

He pulls his phone out of his pocket, dialing a number and putting it to his ear. His free arm still holds me tight as I tremble, afraid to let go.

“Hey, we need to meet tomorrow. Yeah…no…they came here this time. Yeah…tomorrow.”

He hangs up and slides the phone in his pocket, nudging me to walk with him to the couch again.

“Should we call the cops?”

“We don’t call the cops firefly.”

“Henry, you’ll come with me tomorrow. Jerry, you’re gonna stay with Chalene. Don’t leave the house for a second. Not even to piss!

They both nod.

“Call in Raul and Tank to run the shift with you tonight. I want someone on each corner.”
