"We're going to get you on the pill."

"Oh really? And why is that?"

"Because I want to be able to fuck you without a condom. If that's okay, of course."

"It's fine," I said, laughing as I reached up and touched his chest. "I mean, that's what people in relationships do, right?"

"Yeah," he said. "I'm so happy that you're going to be my girlfriend, and..." He bit down on his lower lip. "Well, nothing."

"What were you going to say? Tell me."

"I was just going to say that now that we're official and everyone knows, maybe you can sleep in my room?"

"I mean, do you think Foster will be cool with that?"

"We can ask him. It would get the air mattress out of the living room because then Alice could sleep on the couch."

"Sure," I said. "And hey, I know Foster's hooked up with plenty of women, so it would be a complete double standard if he said no to me."

"Exactly," Oliver said with a smile. "I would love to have you in my room. I've thought about waking up to you every morning for ages now."

"Me too," I said, loving that he'd thought about it as well. "I'm so happy right now, Oliver."

"Me too, Rosalie. I love you."

Chapter37

Rosalie

One Month Later.

"Look at this house, Oliver." I pointed at the screen. "This looks amazing."

"It really does," he said, staring at the first picture, but I could tell he was distracted.

"What is it?" I looked up from my position on his bed. He was standing by the window, looking out.

"I was just thinking that a year ago, I never would've imagined that I'd be this happy and living with you. It's just funny how life goes sometimes."

"I know," I said, beaming at him. I stretched my legs and got off the bed and went and stood next to him. "I feel like the luckiest woman in the world if that means anything."

"It means everything," he said, turning to me, "though I guess we should go into the living room. I think Foster and Alice are waiting on us to play Monopoly."

"Oh my gosh." I laughed. "I forgot about that."

"And how is Alice liking her new job?" he asked.

"I don’t think she's really liking it," I said. "I think she's going to quit, but that's okay. She can find something else she likes."

"I hope she finds something she loves as much as you love working with kids," he said, gazing at me with love in his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm really lucky. I'm so thankful to Maddie. I have to get her a present or something."

"Yeah, that would be nice. She'd really like that."

I squeezed his fingers. "And you told Foster, right?"

"Not yet," he said, "but I'm going to."
