"Well, you know, the argument can come later."

He shook his head and kissed me. "You are the most..." He paused then.

"What were you going to say?" I asked him curiously.

"Nothing." He shook his head quickly. "Do you want to order some room service? I imagine you might be a little bit hungry now."

"I'm okay. I mean, I'm peckish for sure, but I'm not starving. Why, are you hungry?"

"I mean, I could eat some chicken wings and pizza." He grinned, and I laughed.

"Well, this is a fancy nancy hotel, so let's see what they have for room service."

"Okay." He reached over and picked up the phone. "Let me check and make sure they have room service still going."

"Okay." I nodded. "Fingers crossed."

"Hi, this is Oliver James in Room 1234. I was wondering if room service was still available? Oh, great. It's all day? Perfect. And how do I find the menu? Ah, okay. Sounds good. Yes, I will place my order in a little bit. Thank you." He hung up the phone and looked at me with glittering eyes. "All we have to do is turn on the TV. We can scroll through to the menu, and we can place an order right on the TV."

"Now that's amazing. Why can't we have this at home?"

"That would be kind of cool, but who would be fetching the food? Me? I don't think so. However, if you want to volunteer…"

I stared at him for a couple of seconds. "So just because I don't have a job, and I have no money, and I'm sleeping with you, I'm your maid now?"

"No, I didn't mean that," he said quickly, flustered, and I started laughing.

"Got you, Oliver."

"Oh my gosh, Rosalie. Don't do that."

"What? I can tease you. You tease me all the time."

"You do. That is true. Shall we turn the TV on and place an order?"

"Sure," I said. I watched as he reached for the remote and turned the TV on and scrolled through the different menus.

"So do you see anything you fancy?"

"Yeah. I wouldn't mind the crab cakes," I said.

"And let me guess, you want to try the cheesecake?"

"How did you know?"

"I don't know how many times you're going to ask me a question about how I know something about you, Rosalie. I know you almost better than I know myself."

"Okay, sure you do. So what are you getting?"

"I think I'm going to get the shrimp cocktail and a Waldorf salad and some garlic bread."

"Garlic bread?" I raised an eyebrow.

He thought for a second and chuckled. "True. Maybe not garlic bread. I don't want you to repel me when I try to kiss you again."

"Well, I mean, if you don't want to kiss anymore tonight."

"Oh, I want to kiss more tonight." He pressed the buttons and placed the order, then turned the TV off.
